Dude, blackhole89, why are you reluctant to accept Board2 is dead? I agree with everyone that you should have archived this place a long time ago. Yoy coukd have even become a Developer on Kafuka and maybe even have moderated the ROM Hacking forum.

Now, I'm saying more than just "move to Kafuka". This is place, Board2, is dead. Think of all the possibilities that there are on Kafuka. You can successfully post about your projects on Kafuka.

When boards come to their end, they should be archived. Like everyone says on here, the problem isn't that there needs to be more staff, but that this place is beyond just being "a bit inactive".

Now, I hope you won't delete this post because this is the truth: Board2 is dead but you can move on. Just leaving this dead place open will not bring back activity. It's time to accept that you need to let go of Board2 and move on.

are you incapable of reading? nobody, least of all blackhole, is unaware of the fact that the board is practically dead. also, whether or not he personally wants to join kafuka is completely irrelevant.

what do you mean by "archived"? like, do you just want him to disable posting forever? i have no idea why that would be necessary or even helpful to anyone, it's not like the fact that this board continues to exist and is accessible is in any way a negative thing

please remember to think before you post

i don't see any reason to take the board down, removing a potentially useful source of information, even if it gets 0 posts a year

Last view: 3130 days 		Not taking the board down. An archive like I1, I2, and I3. I don't see how archiving the board would have a negative impact. Activity will never return here. So I don't see why Board2 would remain open at all.

I mean, what's the point of keeping this board open at all? That's like leaving an abandoned building with open doors so even goons can hide in the building.

"Imply that there were other places to go" is a nice euphemism for a post where every paragraph except for the first one (which was a single line wherein you talked about removing your admin status because the place was inactive) contained an "oh, by the way, Kafuka" link. I guess I'm glad you are at least clearly embarrassed.

If I actually wanted to censor you, I would not have mentioned the object of your post myself, and certainly would have at least tried to throw previous instances of you saying the exact same things down the memory hole. The point of deleting your post is to make any effort you put into writing it go to waste, so as to hopefully discourage you from making such posts again in the future. Further posts you make that seem to serve the purpose of trying to persuade people to join Kafuka (yes, that means that other content being present in the post is not an excuse) will be deleted and possibly result in a ban, which I think I will have less qualms about after seeing your latest response.

I am not usually one to derive much pleasure from other people's frustration and suffering, but at this point, I can't help but find your comical irritation at the continued existence of this board sufficiently hilarious to be motivated to keep things as they are simply to see how much more pointless flailing I can extract from you by doing literally nothing.
