Hello! I am new to modding snes titles. I am familiar with the approach towards duke nukem 3d, doom, unreal, quake, half life, etc. so please bare with me as I learn. I am new to this board, so any help that you may be able to provide me with would be amazing! for starters, I am wanting to simply edit a level from 'scratch' and play through it. eventually, I would like to edit my own sprites and be able to share working titles, maps, levels, settings, etc. with friends. I would also like to know how to successfully port a title to where it can be played on an xbox, 369, wii, wiiU, or PC and easily be made available for friends and family to share a gaming experience. is this a frustrating, but rewarding task?

any tips, experiences, links, videos, or any thing else will be very helpful! thank you for your patience as I am new to this. having been an NES gamer all my life, I'm excited about this.

A post on Super Mario Kart :

I was wondering if anyone could provide me with some links or tips on editing super Mario kart. I'm wanting to create custom tracks but I'm not sure how to test, start a track from scratch, share, move to an xbox wii or wiiU, etc. I am currently using Epic Edit. Any thanks is greatly appreciated!
