...I would have to first learn a programming language, which I would some point in the future, because there's so many ideas lingering in my head.

Aside from that, I was wondering what order of genre would I base on to make a game (RPG, etc.)
So I decided to ponder a bit more on that and make a small list, partially based on the complexity:

- Classic Arcade shoot 'em up;
- A shoot 'em up with a plotline and cutscenes;
- A shoot 'em up with some sort of complicated method of control like you'd see in silly surreal stuff like this;
- A Puzzle game;
- An RPG;
- A Hack 'n Slash RPG;
- Abstract Adventure game;
- A well thought-out Platformer ;
- A Fighting game;
- (now if I were to move on to something 3D, i only have a game with mechas in mind, just like Zone of the Enders).

Now, how would you sort out genres of games if you felt like trying to make different kinds of games? If you already do make games, what kind of game did you first make?
