I have decided to update my Mapper Conversion Pack to Version 1.1. I have included the 3 other MMC5 conversions I did of Castlevania and Megaman 1 & 2, and I have also just made a brand new one to make this an even-numbered pack.
I have converted The Bugs Bunny Crazy Castle to MMC5. I wanted to convert that game to MMC3 a while ago, but never got around to it. Now that I know how to do MMC5 conversions, I just decided to make it MMC5 instead. Googie, if you're reading this, I thought of you when I decided to do the mapper conversion of TBBCC. I know how much you like to hack games like that. And now that it is MMC5, you can maximize the PRG to 1MB, and the CHR-ROM to 1MB, since the game already uses CHR-ROM! 
On a side note, my Megaman 2 CHR-ROM conversion is 95% done. I'm hoping to have it done and released this week!  ____________________ My YouTube Channel |

The Legend of Zelda and Contra have been converted to MMC5. You can download the latest version of my Mapper Conversion Pack at the link above.
There is a minor graphical glitch due to converting Contra's mapper. I noticed it during the game's second demo sequence. I have let infidelity know about it as well, since it also exists in his mapper conversion. I will update my Conversion Pack if I find out what the problem is. It is a very minor glitch (it does go away after a few seconds), but I just wanted to point it out that it does exist. ____________________ My YouTube Channel |

Thanks for sharing these patches. I don't know if they would have any benefit for me (as I don't really hack ROMs). But if there is any benefit to the end-user, can you explain it to me please. I did read your technical explanation to ShaneM, but that seemed focused on the benefits of using these as base hacks. Of course I want the tightest running, most compatible ROMs though. Which leads me to my next question: which ROMs should these patches be applied to (No-Intro, a TOSEC or GoodNES ROM)? Thanks. |

I am discontinuing my Mapper Conversion Pack for two reasons:
- I prefer to release my hacks as soon as they are finished. - I have been uploading my hacks to the RHDN database, so the pack is no longer necessary. I will still leave the latest pack (Version 1.2) up, but every patch that is in that pack, with the exception of my Rockman MMC3 patch, has been uploaded to the RHDN database. Apparently someone made a MMC3 patch for that game back in '11, by ripping it from a Rockman 1-6 pirate cart. But if you still want my version, which was a direct hack of the original ROM, it is in my pack. ____________________ My YouTube Channel |
