Hello, this here is my very first MM3 romhack, Mega Man ICFE,I worked on this on and off since June 10th of this year: (the following text is a copy and paste from the Readme file included in the rar)
THE HACK:
Basically,it modifies all the levels, and it mods not only the AI of most bosses(some though, only have minor changes here and there) but it also rebalances
the weapons, which in the original MM3,i have to admit, were not very well balanced out,I hope this new weapon balance pleases you.
Lastly, there's some minor graphical changes here and there(mostly palette changes, some additional tiles were added, like the title screen, and yeah,I suck at 8 bit graphics,i'm sorry) and the bosses
are named after my friends from school(which was the main idea of the hack to begin with,do a MM3 hack that improves upon the original game's flaws while naming the bosses after my buddies, yeah, stupid
I know, but whatever,I just wanted to make a rom hack, and here it is!) Constructive criticism is absolutely welcome.

HOW TO PLAY IT:
Use the Lunar IPS.exe to apply the IPS patch to a MM3 rom,in this case, the rom is Mega Man 3.nes (The MM3 rom that was used is the one that I just named before,in other words,it's the USA version of MM3).

GLITCHES:
There's some bugs present in this ROM hack, mostly small graphical bugs, but there is one bug that can be game breaking:
Let's start with the graphical bugs: 1. Beating Proto Man(for the exception of the final fight against him) glitches certain tiles,
but they work as intended,it just doesn't display correctly.
2. When visiting the 2 levels with the Dark Bulbs enemies(the ones that make the level go dark) if you pause and unpause the game, certain parts of the levels
become visible again(the stars also disappear, but this was a bug already present in the unmodified MM3)
Apart from that, there's not any noticeable graphical bug I could find.
The other bug I was talking about earlier is that when you get to Wily 4,the right row of boss capsules seems to have some sort of strange bug:
Once you enter the boss room, the boss doesn't show up until your press left on the controller. You have to be careful, since if you toy around with this,
you can get the boss to spawn on you,and it will trigger a bug where you can't hurt the boss nor can you kill yourself. Just remember to press left once you enter the room.
(On a sidenote,it did happen in the main levels, but it generally happened when i was using save states, when normally played, none of this happened, only in Wily 4 it seems to happen with 3 capsules)
I have no idea how to fix these bugs,so if you want to drop a comment giving me some sort of clue as to how fix them,it would be greatly appreciated.
Tell me if any new bugs show up,and I'll try to fix them.

As stated before this is Version 1.00,so expect an update to fix the remaining bugs present in the hack.

Big thanks go to Matrixz for his MegaFle X tool, kuja killer for the inmense amount of MM3 documentation and Praetarius for the Boss Database 2 document, without you fellas,I doubt this hack would have been possible,so many thanks go to you!

This is a great hack, El Chavo's level is my favorite!

The only thing I can think of is not to make the boss battles too hard. Balance more a bit so they can be more beatable.

Hmm,can you be a little more specific on that one? As in, is there a particular boss that's way too difficult(Wily 5's boss?) due to etc. reasons? I'm planning on making a prequel and a sequel, and as I stated earlier,I want to improve upon my shortcomings with my given abilities. Another thing, what did you think of the new weapon balance?(I.E,Spark Shock actually being useful,Shadow Blade heavily nerfed and buffed here and there, etc.) Was it a good fix to the original (horrendous) weapon balance of MM3?
