Okay I'm still kind of new here so basically I'm looking for someone who is good at hacking nes games. There are a few games I'd like to get hacked or have hacked originally I was playing wwf wrestlemania and was thinking to myself how much better this game could be if it was hacked good. Then I got to thinking a lot about other games that don't get good reviews ones that come to my mind first are the LJN games, mostly the movie based games. Now I'd love to hear some of your ideas comments or any input on these ideas at all. Now I am a newby here and I have never hacked anything myself nore know how to do so. I just thought I'd share with you my ideas and Hope that someone can see them threw I'm not even sure if anyone would want to. Anyway I'd love to hear from you guys.

Thank you

I suggest you get acclimated with ASM programming. That'd be your best bet. You might be able to do a slightly decent hack without out, but you'd be better off learning it. I'll get more involved with ASM once I finish my SMB3 hack. I'd like to do a bugfix of the original FF.

WWF Wrestlemania, I may want to hack the game myself but not at the moment. It's been loaded in my mind.

I'd say start from the beginning. There are a lot of tutorials on 6502 ASM (the NES's assembly language) programming. I've only gotten started myself.

Where is the best place to get the 6502 ASM?

It's already in the NES ROMs, and I think you can change the code in the debugger. What I'm assuming you're talking about is tools to disassemble and reassemble code.
If that IS the case, then I may suggest DASM6 and ASM6. They're both command-line programs designed to rip the code out of the ROM and shove it back in, and are designed to be simple to use.

There's a readme file included with asm6. It might help. I can't remember how dasm worked for me, however
