Hi, I'm Rai and I've been ASM hacking for the SNES, for translation purposes, for a couple years. I consider myself pretty skilled and have done very complex ASM hacks, like adding a VWF to a game.
But when it comes to coding programs, what programming language would be best for writing a script decompressor for a game? It would be basically have to be a language that supports loading bytes from a file, as well as deleting bytes from files and such. |

Python. Or Perl. Or really, any similar type of language where you don't need to worry about compile steps. ____________________ |
