Here is a hack for Contra: Hard Corps (Sega Genesis). It's called Robotron. Instructions for how to apply the hack is shown in the archive. http://homepage.corbina.net/~lich/rrr/demos/robotron.rar
The readme says you can play the robot version of all 4 characters. I can only seem to play the robot version of the first guy (Ray). Could anybody figure out how this works to get the robot versions of the others? |

I didn't try this hack, but according to the screenshot it looks like it'll only work for co-op.

No, it'll also work for single player. However, it's the 2-player mode method that I'm curious about/struggling with.
The readme says there are 2 ways to play as the robot hybrids of the characters. One is through single player, pressing down 4 times. The second way is something about continuing after game over in 2 player mode. English is not the guy's first language, so there's clearly some translation issue or something. I can only play as the robot version of the first guy (Ray). I can't play as robot version of the other 3 (the text file says you're supposed to be able to do so). |
