Congratulations! You're reading a post by Lazlo Falconi, Internet superhero! ...Or at least, back in the day I was an internet super hero. Now I'm an adult... (Not by choice). I usually don't make intro threads, preferring to just start post, so what is there to say? I'm a forum veteran, though I've for some inconceivable reason never posted on Acmlmboard (Which is good, because I was a total donger until like 2006) but I know the way it goes. I doubt anyone here would know me, but if you've seen a Lazlo Falconi on the Internet, chances are it was me. I used to be all about emulation and forums. Until I graduated college, that was my love, that was my life. But I sort of fell off the face on the Internet for a few years, but I'm trying to make a come back and going to a bunch of sites I used to know about that are still around and... Whoa, that sentence kind of got away from me. No, I am not in to ROM hacking, but I'm not exactly not into it, you know? That is to say, I've never done it (Except a few half-hearted attempts in Lunar Magic) but I'm not opposed to the idea. I'd have to say that if I were to ever attempt to hack a game, it would probably be something for the original GameBoy because I just love the limited... Well, everything about that system. it's probably one of my favorite all time video game consoles. Anyway, here's a list of forums I've been to, just in case anyone here might have heard of them: Project Jenova was the first forum I went to but I don't go there any more and actually it doesn't exist, and Kiwibonga Advance was the first Acmlm-based board I went to, but it doesn't work any more. I was kind of a big deal on Rom-Source (And if you know my name, this is probably why) and the Protoman Homepage, then a few other sites nobody cares about, and these days I spend most of my time between Vizzed (Don't worry, I don't like it either--but it's damn near the only active forum I know of these days) and my forum, which runs AcmlmBoard XD, so I kind of go to their development forum occasionally too. What else do ya want? ____________________ That's it. I'm done. |

Hi there, I'm moltensnow, but you can call me MolSno too. I'm from SMWC but don't do a whole lot there anymore. IRC has taken up a ton of my time.
I decided to register because NovaSquirrel (who I'm pretty sure is still NovaYoshi) has been coming here a long time so I figured why not. Since me being a friend of Nova's might suggest so, I'd just like to point out that I'm not a furry (I sort of am but not really). He just hangs out in my IRC channel. About me, I guess. I play Nintendo games all the time (mostly newer ones but I love the classics as well). I'm on the computer all the time. That's about all I can say that's somewhat interesting, so... yeah. I've posted a few times, but only now located the intro thread.
I'm Pierre, usually I go around with the names Pierre Monteux or IamPierreMonteux. (I doubt anyone here knows me from anywhere else, but you never know.) I found the forum because of the lazy shell editor. I've been interested in making games for a long time, but do to multiple failures (all due to lack of time) I hadn't touched any programming for too long. I'm currently dissecting Super Mario RPG. This is my first real time attempting to dig into a rom. (My only other time was an abysmal failure do to lack of research). I'll probably have questions, and hopefully a success story at some point. Right now I'm digging through the source of lazy shell to see how it works. I'm blown away by the amount of features in it right now. I hope I don't become a small blip on the radar. I know how annoying that can be. |
