I notice there is no store to buy like more bomb or arrow. Maybe you should add one.

You should still fix that because it lets you get the hammer early and that opens up alot of things :/ Also Do you really need to defeat trinex to finish the game?

What you are talking about is actually the speed-run playing. You actually dont have to defeat any boss. You can play any dungeon just up to the main item and quit the dungeon. You also dont have to backtrack from a lot of dungeons by just using save and quit to come out. You can use the cape and get the hammer, and quit without a fight. You can finish the game without having a single crystal, you just need the cane of somaria and silver arrows; you can also use cheats (like infinity health).

For instance: you can solve Parallel Worlds by just finishing 2 dark world dungeons, but like said, this is speed-run playing, and the game wasnt meant to be played this way.

edit
The main barrier before the 5th dungeon are actually rocks, that can be destroyed only with shoes (from the 4th dungeon), the electric is there just to tell you to get the sword3, which you definitely need to finish the game, since you cant defet Ganon without the sword. If you use the cape, you just skip the sword, that you eventually have to get.

Actually the pond of happiness does exist in the game (you need the hammer to get to the pond)

Regarding the shop. Ive decided to replace it with the cave where you get bombs and arrows without paying any rupees.

Regarding the pond. Here's where you can increase the number of arrows and bombs, like in the original game. You need a hammer, otherwise you could spend all the rupees to early. Then you cant get the flippers.

Oh yay, I think I'm stumped in the tomb dungeon right now. Figured out that one cave with the 4 torches surprisingly quick, took the key into the entrance with the unopenable chest, managed to find two more small keys, but now I can't figure out what to do.

I want to get down to that pot in the pic, but my way back into this room is blocked off by orange blocks. Unless I'm missing something painfully obvious (Like the hookshot cause, you know, that'd be really nice right about now ), I'm totally stumped here and need a hint or a pointer in the right direction.

Guess the good thing about all this is that I grabbed the Quake medallion in another cave while trying to figure this out.

See that star on the ground, it always tells you that something is hidden or that there is a trick somewhere. In this case it tells you that the big statue right down of the star is a trick statue, that you can pick up and get past it. Then you can come to that pot down there.

PS You can get the Quake medallion in a cave north of the grave only by hookshoting across the pit (but since you have no hookshot yet, I really dont know how you got it already).

...D'oh! I should have seen that coming to be honest. Lesson learned now at least. Finished the dungeon off, grabbed a couple items with my new hookshot, then found the next dungeon to explore for later on today.

As for getting the Quake medallion early...

Simply letting a bomb propel yourself over that northern pit will do. I had to do that a couple times playing Parallel Worlds so that's where I picked up the tactic.

Also, bomb jumping is how I got the piece of heart in this cave too.

Nice moves. And remember, this game doesn't require bomb jumps and other complex moves that you know from PW, but it has some riddles that are not popular with all the players. However, if you've finished PW (like me), there should be no problem accepting them.

In the dark world in the swamp, but you'll need the MoonPearl first.

Well this hack has inspired me to play through the original, and concequently find things in the rom that I've always wanted to know about. I found all the dungeon tag ASM. There's only 64 values, and a few are not used(crashes game). Shouldn't be hard to program a new event, though no event system is going to top that of the Oracle games. Oh hey, idea! How about using the upper 2 bits to reference additional lists? Overkill I'm sure, but in an expanded rom it might be cool.
