After starting this project in early 2010, it has finally come to its end. I've decided to work on it one last time and came up with the very final version 3-0. At first I was lacking some technical knowledge to fix certain things, but now I could go back to my previous problems and I could solve them all. In the global room net, that I didnt do before, I've seen some empty space, so I've decided to expand the game further.

Two brand new big dungeons were added (tomb dungeon and ice dungeon), Ganon got his tower, one more big darkworld area was added. I could also add one more semi dungeon and expand the MoonPearl dungeon. Some other things were updated also: monologues, exits and entrances, indoor blocksets, village, overworld drawings. All dungeons were reviewed and updated. I've also updated the ending sequence. This is a lot of work, since I had to rewrite all dungeon names in hex.

All together working on this project was sometimes fun, sometimes tedious, because I was learning more and more, so I could update the game over and over. I'm just glad I can finally close the work on this game for good.

Every IPS file must always be applied to a clean (original) rom. This IPS is compatible only with the original EU rom, with (E) [!] on the end, made on august the 23rd 2004, with 1024 KB. Dont patch to any other files.

Also, you must play from the beginning and make a new 3-0 savestates and srm (automatic when playing), you can not mix it with 2-0, since the game is changed (is longer).

So far it looks pretty good, though I am not sure what to do after I finish the first dungeon. There are lots of places, and some items I found, but nothing that leads to a dungeon I can get anywhere in. I even checked the waterfall and I can't find anything.

The second dungeon is in the grave area. It has 3 entrances. I assume you were there already since you have the flippers.

Yes, but I can't get far in either of them. One has an unopenable chest, and another has 3 torches and a floor switch that does nothing.

Go to the entrance with the torches, there are 4 of them. First defeat all enemies, then pick up the rock to free the 4th torch. Now go back and light all 4 torches to get a chest. Now you can go to the other entrance with the unopenable chast. Once you finish this grave, go to the third and final grave.

I found what the problem was. Of course now I am stuck in the dungeon where you need 4 keys from 4 different caves. I got the keys, but there's a crystal switch blocked by an unreachable block I can't hit. The floor marking indicates a secret is there, but the only item that can get past the block is bombs, and you can't throw them far enough.

You need to do a special trick (you need a quake medalion from
the cave north of the graveyard).

Wow, I would have never figured that out, and yet it makes perfect sense. You can tell I haven't played ALTTP for quite some time.

Seems like a cool Zelda 3 game! I haven't played it in a while. Since SePH's Parallel worlds hack I never even finish playing.

And now I'm stuck in the ice palace and I think I used the wrong key on the wrong door and have no idea what to do except cheat.

It's a pretty interesting hack, but one thing I'd suggest is to at least ad in the Red Mail. I understand it wasn't put in for cosmetic reasons, but the enemies take too much damage, and the projectiles are relentless. God only knows how hard this game would be without at least one shield upgrade.

In the ice palace theres so many keys as locked doors. Im guesing you didnt find the one hidden in the trick torch surrounded by brown bumps, when you go to the global left section of the dungeon. The trick is to go back when hitting the peg swithch, get the key and then continue.

Regarding the armor. Ive calculated that with the level1 mail/armor you can finish the game normally, since you have a lot of rupees and you can buy a lot of potions. But yes, some enemies maybe take to much health, specially Ganon, still the game is beatable and tested without cheating.

Yeah I figured I missed a key, but I was low on health and didn't want to backtrack so I just went ahead and cheated. More laziness on my part. Also laizness was me having to cheat infinite health at the end, but again could have been avoided if I had prepared properly.

By far the most annoying aspect of the game would be the statue pushing mazes. Of course that also means you put a lot of effort into those mazes, so while they were tedious, they were interesting to solve, and really more time consuming than difficult.

@Jigglysaint
Regarding Ganon. You need at least 2 fairies, blue and green potion, then you can defeat him without cheating.
Regarding the mazes. Yes, it takes quite some time, since the statue moves so slowly, so I recommend to everyone to put the emulator's display speed to 140% or 200%.

@TwoTone
Go left from the village and on the end of the road theres a cave with a vital item. Then go south of the village and on the end of the road theres another cave. Use the item iside to come to the graveyard with the 2nd dungeon.

I'd just started playing this game the day before yesterday, and I need some help. I've gotten the flute, beaten the 4th dungeon (The one with the giant armos statues as the boss), and now I can't find out what to do next! I've found the Book of Mudora and the Master Sword, but the location of the 5th dungeon escapes me. Help, anyone?
