What was the modified code involved in creating the SMB3 World Order hack? Should it be PM'ed or not?

Ready ta' meet Sharpy? *Swings Kukri around*

Okay, now for a real question.

Do you have a favorite videogame or are you kinda "meh" about it?

I forgot. I had it in a text file and then lost it in a HD crash. It involved a jump table which included specific bytes to change for each world. I'm sure one could figure it out by examining the differences between a clean and patched ROM. I would actually like to find out again.

Actually, there are quite a few that I like to play. Some more than others, but I can't really choose any one game.

Pin*Bot (The actual table and the NES version)
SMB3
Unreal Tournament 2004
Top Gear Rally for N64 (Here's why: #1 - #2 - #3... I could play this shit for hours.)
Super Metroid

I'm probably forgetting some too.

Indeed. I can't believe you didn't know. Shall I make a fourth video? Also how did you come across it the first time?

I honestly don't even remember how I came across it the first time.

Shrug.

I know this thread is almost a month old, but it's still near the top so I'm gunna go for it. I have a two part question.
Do you think it's a good idea to have Megaman and SMB3 hacking sections (I see a lot of hacks and hacking related info for these games anymore)?

The only way I see their own sections existing is if it gets so big that more than two dedicated moderators couldn't manage it. I think we're doing fine right now.

All we need to worry about is HDD space, since more than half of board2's database is covered with edits of your posts.

Y'know, I could write a small script to remove all but the latest revision of Synthedit's posts. I'd probably just base it on ABXD's purgerevisions.php, but with an extra where clause and on Board2's library. D'ya think Black would run it?

He'd sooner buy a bigger hard drive than compromise the integrity of board archiveability. Not a chance in hell he'd run it. But it's worth a try. And therein lies the oxymoron.

Oh lol. I didn't know it kept every version of a post D:. I have a habit of remembering things after posting, or I find really bad typos / mistakes in my sentances.

Another question!! What would you do for a klondike bar (you said you're usually not opposed to silly questions, so I'm going for it)?

Edit (Oh noes!! D: ): Or two. Why does the allowed Maxi Pix size change everytime you click Edit Profile?

Not only does it keep every variation, it also notifies the IRC channel of every single edit. It invokes the thought of those that frequent the channel on certain things like:
- Read through what you type before you submit your post, and
- Use the preview post button.

Also, klondike bar? I would do a backflip into a snake pit. Or more likely I'd just go to the fucking store and buy one or ten.

As for the maxipic, that was a result of some debate regarding the minipic and the eventual frstration of the person responsible for coding it.

Would it be a foolish thought due to your current geographic situation, or just your personality differences?

Ahhh just the thing to give me lots of lolz. Thanks KP.
So what do you think would happen if you did? Do you think you would get completely sucked in or be stuck part way in and not be able to get out?

Sorry for the late reply. I don't think i'm qualified to speak on matters of black hole physics. I think if I do, for a very short time, I'll have a very long cock.
