I find it unfair that I get called a troll simply because I hold conservative views. I bet that if I came here with outrageous communist nonsense, nobody would even care.
You're posting outrageous things to begin with. That's your first mistake. You're claiming outrageous commie things would be somehow okay, possibly because of blackhole89. That's your second mistake, considering bh's not the only one here to judge you.

We percieve your outrageous things as trolling because we can only hope you're not actually being serious about it. It's that outrageous.

Now read that again in a hammy voice, emphasis on the most often-used word.
There's also the fact he publicly stated he was trolling previously.

I am not trolling. Why are people so particularly hostile to me?
Because you have not backed up any of your arguments or statements with credible logic. Most of its looked something like this:
"America is superior to the rest of the world."
"Okay, why?"
"Because we're chosen by God."

This does absolutely nothing to explain how you know we are the best. If you ever plan to change the minds of others (or at least prove the validity of your thinking) you need to be able to explain the basic building-blocks of your outlook, starting with something everyone already believes. This means using God in your debates will never work here.

I support China's web block because democracy creates instability, and China has suffered enough instability already. Order is needed.

Clearly you haven't noticed what's been going on in Egypt/etc.
Yep, definitely still trolling.

I did notice what happened in Egypt. It's awful. The Muslim Brotherhood is going to take over Egypt and al-Qaeda will find a new base of operations there. Mubarak was a key US ally and he provided much-needed stability to Egypt, allowing businesses to grow without worrying about Islamists ruining them. Now with Mubarak gone, there's nobody to keep the order. The Muslim mobs will destroy Egypt. They already looted the museums and are destroying the relics of Ancient Egypt, now they will proceed to purge Egypt of its ancient history and only leave Islamic history. The Muslims must be stopped by all means.

"Democracy creates instability"
Basically you've been saying that a dictatorship/equivalent is better than democracy.
I pointed out that the countries under such rule (ie: Egypt/et al) seem to be much less stable (violent overthrow of the government = not stable) than countries ruled by democracy or a form thereof (such as the USA).

Egypt was not a dictatorship in the full sense of the word. It was a kleptocracy. If they had a real monarch, an emperor, there would be legitimacy. What men in power should do is crush troublemakers very swiftly so that there is no chance for them to topple the nation into chaos. Order is what makes nations prosper, not revolutions.

You continue to say that the US is a country chosen by God, best in the world, etc..
Wouldn't this mean to you that other countries should follow in the footsteps of the world leader? That would seem to call for democracy, since much of America's achievement and culture is based on it.
Sure, democracies can be rather unstable to begin with, but it seems to be doing alright in the US -- seemingly your idea of a model country. That would seem to indicate that a bit of disorder and revolution would be necessary for these countries to continue forward progress.[1]

No, other countries can't follow in America's footsteps and should not attempt to do so. America was chosen by God, and therefore it is successful. What other countries do is irrelevant to me, as long as what they're doing benefits American interests. The US, fortunately, is not very democratic and is easily controlled by enlightened individuals and not the idiot masses. I don't care if the other countries continue to progress or not. We want two things from them: markets and resources. That means we want them to buy our products and to sell us raw materials for cheap or for free if possible.

Really? Why not?
Also, Ancient Babylon, the Roman Empire, the Mongolian Empire, and the Egyptian Empire are all good examples of nations chosen by their god(s). They all passed through a golden age and are now in the history books; what, in your opinion makes America more special than them?
And if you opt to answer God again, know that the Roman Empire was Christian at the time of its undoing -- therefore worshiping and believing to be chosen by the same God Christianity recognizes today.

Their gods were not real. God is real. America is chosen by God. The real God.
That makes her special.

If you're going to try and keep trolling, the least you could do is say you don't worship the same God Christianity does, or something like that. Otherwise you're just getting lazy.

God is real and the others are not. It doesn't matter how I know, I just know. That's why it's called faith.

Okay, there's one thing you gotta understand. If there's one person who believes in God, whether or not God is real (I'm Christian, and I believe so) you just can't go on a message board full of users who want cold hard evidence and go "faith motherfucker, do you have it?" and expect to get anywhere. It's why I hardly bring it up myself.

Just give up, you aren't going to get anywhere, for reasons you should understand and for reasons you'll never understand. If you have to ask what they are, you've already lost the sliver of this off-topic debate.

I do not believe in a god.
Yes, that's right, his very first post and he states quite clearly his beliefs. And yet now he claims that the USA is "chosen by god" and other assorted crap? Nope, still trolling. Are you guys just waiting for him to finish his transformation into the next RomManic before banning him or what?

RomManic kept his views in one direction for the most part, and at least seemed to believe what he was saying though. This guy is all over the place.
