I used dslazy on a .nds file, and get many .bin files. The only thing I remember about it is that due to organizan issues, the files are easier to use. Now, I may have known what to use with those before, but I sure don't right now.
Just ask the question, already.
Some .bin files have to do with graphics, what do I use to view those graphics?

Same as for any ROM, load them in a tile editor and use the right format ... but since this is Nintendo DS, are the graphics even in a supported format?

I've heard that the NDS uses the same format as the GBA for many graphics- unfortunately, I can't remember what the GBA format was, or what editors support it.

The GBA format is 4bpp Linear Reversed, many editors support it, including Tile Molester, Tile Layer Pro, and YY-CHR.

If I ever see colored text without a layout again, I will stab you in the face with a soldering iron.

And did you try just farking googling it? Because I found some stuffz in a NDS Emu forum.

Guy, you can just say so without the threat, k?
I put that there because I had thought of deleting it and just asking the question, but I didn't want 17 minutes of unprocessed filtered thought gone away.

I, well...get ready for more dumb talk...tried, but didn't know what to search for. What did you use? Here it comes...

Son, this is the internet. There is no such thing as a threat.
But ok, I'll be nicer. But to tell you the truth, I have no idea what I searched with, so I'll have to try and find it again.

imo, the graphics are just compressed. I've tried with a couple games to view graphics but all I get is garbage, even from the FAT filesystem after you extract it.

On the other hand, there are probably some unsupported formats that the DS has introduced. e.g. many different kinds of 256 bitmaps have been introduced.

"imo" confuses me. What?

Lessee...what you're saying is, the .bin files are compressed and just need to be extracted to view them?

Whoa...nothing happened.

And also, it turns out .bin files aren't the only thing there is. I'm getting .bnm, unsigned, .rax, .bg, and a whole bunch of other crud.

Hold up, some of these actually have the right file type and are showing up as palettes. And a few tiles, but only a few.
It seems that this thing was only configured for specifics. What did you use for success?
