Yeah, might as well restart it here.

For those of you that don't know what this thread is about, its about anything related to Dance Dance Revolution, In The Groove, Pump It Up, StepMania, and the like.

I should post links for anyone who just comes in and reads the first post to see what its about instead of figuring it out on their own like I did.

StepMania
The freeware dancing simulation game that allows you to use custom songs.

StepMania Online
Where you go to check your online stats if you play it online.

Bemanistyle
A community around Bemani games. The simfile database contains loads of songs for StepMania. Hiryuu, DahrkDaiz, and I have files on there as well. You will need to register to download though.

Flash Flash Revolution
A flash-based simulator. It has a simfile database as well.

DDR UK
You need to register to download. Has official DDR sims for download.

I think that is good to start with. Let's get this back to 1000 posts soon, shall we?

StepMania drove me insane. I played keyboard. I hate it with a passion. As for pad, I have almost never played. Best I can do is Max 300 standard. Almost got LoM standard though.

I used to play Stepmania with a pad religiously, but from my second year of university onwards I was typically placed in upstairs rooms so I quickly fell out of practice. My crowning achievement was Max 300 on standard, though that's not particularly saying much nowdays

I can't seem to go 3 hours at a time without getting some kind of foot arch problem going. Does anyone else have this problem? I wear a size 16 if that's relevant, but I play in socks only.

After 2 days of inactivity it's starting to go away, so hopefully I can still play without a trip to the podiatrist.

Well today I did Driven on pad. Gah, Monolith is the hardest part with those mods. Everything else is pretty cool, though.

Got over 70% on Normal.

Oh, and I tried MAX 300 again today, thinking I'll fail it. Set it to 1.5x and passed it with ease.

I should do that with The legend of MAX.

I prefer PIU Doubles as I feel they flow better for some reason.

I did another NM song SAT and I have to say that was one fun song! So NM flows nice and yes it could have been harder but it was fun.

Also, I'm scared of triples when two pads are involved.

I can't read them right.

Triples are a little scary, but in ITG2, hands that involve 4 or more arrows scare me half to death. I already attempted Disconnected disco Doubles(10) and failed miserably.
