Does anyone of you know about Rockman 4 Minus Infinity recent development? It had been 9 months, since the 1st May 2011.
Also what about the newer Rockman 2 hacks? Anything new worth to be mentioned? ____________________ I was a prisoner enclosed in the void, were everything might end up just as myself. There I was called the death in the void, but after a long sleep my drill was ready to pierce the void. I came back... to guide those who are in doubt and to crush any corrupted mind. EDIT: I heard Puresabe's recent postings in Japanese at the 2ch something about the 4th Cossack level. I'd love to see it when it's out. |

Just a short question.
Is there any way to make bosses not appear on the Boss Selected Screen, like the question marks? |

But anywho (sorry for the short off) Hmm well I had a look at it, I'm not sure about how to do it though. It's right before the "which doc stages to have question mark for" data, but if I try to put 00 there, the game crashes after the boss intro song. Also these aren't sprite ID's here you see in MegaFLE X for example, but sprite animation frame ID's, so it's not the same thing. Ah, thanks for the info, but I knew about these before, they have nothing to do with it. But if there would be animations, not using any tiles, and not making the Boss Selected Screen broke (actually it does not broke the Boss Selected Screen, but the animation cannot let the game continue.), so it's not an infinite loop animation.
This would actually do the thing, but... And what about disabling the Boss Selected Screen? Like... You select a boss but the Boss Selected Screen does not appear, but you continue the game on the boss's level. |

I have a question about expanding my ROM (The CHR file to be exact).
Is is as simple as modifying the ines header byte that tells the number of 8k CHR pages and then actually adding those new 8k bytes at the end of the ROM? |

There's some confusion around people who saw Rockman 4 MI being at Romhacking dot net as a completed game. I even post the announcement at my unofficial Facebook fan page of Neoぼろくず工房 and my own Facebook fan page.
First of all, Rockman 4 MI is NOT a completed hack. I don't know why RHDN approved it and is marked as complete. I heard no announcement from Puresabe and I checked Neoぼろくず工房 every day. It hasn't posed since 1/15/12. Puresabe is STILL active. He becomes inactive if I haven't heard anything within more than 6 months which is August 2012. |

yea, you're defintely correct, he hasn't publically announced on his blog that it was complete "just yet" even though there's only like, 1 more level left truly.

that looks like a fun hack! where did you find these screenshots at? Do you know the name or hack author?
I myself am still waiting on Rockman 2 hybrid hex.
EDIT** looks like this a hack by k-game which was untitled and unreleased so im not sure there are any ips patches floating around on the net.. |

Not sure what romhack that is but looks very familiar, i might of played it one day before in the past, but dont remember the name.

ah he finally released to public.
I personally have already played the whole game all the way to the ending, he sent me a "private" build of the 0.01 update weeks ago, and i helped him out with some of his japanese to english translations for text. Cause you can now enjoy the game in english via Title Screen, not just japanese anymore.
He programmed a swapping ability very much like what i had on Odyssey at the title screen. I already know what the latest wily level looks like, the wily battles, everything. I wont dare say a word... But insectduel seems to have a video posted already.. |
