I made mine pretty much within the same time, so I'll just steal this thread. :p

But really, I like the color scheme on your layout. I'd never be able to coordinate colors well enough to pull off a non-theme layout, and have it look good. Example: my previous layout which was ugly.

I was going to rant about the small horizontal space but if I adblock Wario it is fine, I'd just hope people would follow the way of Trelior where the image gets smaller/bigger dynamically depending on resolution *gets punched by adblocked Wario*

My layout is the epitome of efficient utilization of horizontal space, usage of completely ridiculous scripts, good color scheme, and great compatibility with all board schemes, and also holds the record for most useless PHP scripts in a layout.

Though I also run 1280x1024 so I don't give a shit about horizontal waste.

I ask for one minute of silence for CyclopsCaveman's old layout that was superb! With the light yellow themed image on the background and the blue text box over it with impressive transparency that didn't make the blue and yellow fuse to green, but had a great effect of turning the background image blue, and the semitransparent text that nevertheless was very readable, amazing! I didn't know how much I liked that old layout until it was gone.

The layout is dead, long live the layout.

I'd love to do something like that again soon, and I too liked the layout. I felt change was needed in my layout, however. Maybe eventually I'll drop the side image and go back to a bg image, but for now I'm enjoying bearded wario. (Who, after the layout change, might head on off to my profile later.) Also, fret not! The CSS file for the old layout is STILL on the uploader, and I do have the code for the old layout still. I'm thinking about dropping a layout archive in my profile, so I can make sure every layout I've like is there to be reused sometime in the future.

And, oh, it seems you've been inspired by my layout and decided to use text-shadow too. Friendly tip, don't specify a particular color for the text-shadow attribute, this way it'll use the current text color, and spoilers will not be spoiled.

Also, I'm going to explain why I don't like this thread, and prefer personal threads. It's just that, in this thread, comments about all the various layouts are going to be intermixed and it could be hard to find comments about one particular layout, thus making the thread hard to read. With personal threads, you know you'll only get comments about your layout, and the thread will stay relatively easy to read. Just my opinion, tho. Feel free to prove me wrong.
