I would make this a poll but multi-voting still doesn't work .

So, which version(s) of the NDS do you have?

I have an original DS and a DSLite. I don't plan on getting a DSi [XL] unless I get one for free or something, it's not like I'll refuse it. I might get the fifth generation DS, once it comes out (because you know it will).

I had an original DS when they came out, but it had a dead pixel and a little smudge on the top screen that would never go away. Eventually, I gave it to a friend who really wanted a DS...

...By which time I had a DS Lite! Which is the same one I own today. I may get a DSi in the future, though.

I have a white DS lite. Its corners are slightly scratched because it met the floor a few times, accidentally. But still, it's quite solid.

I'm not planning to get a DSi. My SuperCard would become useless.

Also, they say the DSi's screens are 8% bigger. 8% isn't much. And current DS games would just look even more pixelated.

Though, the cameras seem cool, but I actually hardly see an use for them if my sister doesn't get a DSi too. Certainly not taking pictures, they must be hardly better than most telephone cameras.

Apparently, the buttons are different from the DS lite's ones, and it may take time getting used to

Offtopic: adding a "Allow multi-voting" checkbox must not be so hard... It's been said that multi-voting was already implemented, then it's just matter of adding an <input> tag with the proper parameters, and done...

I have a classic DS Phat with a firmware hack. DS Lite is too small and feels... I dunno, waxy. DSi? Never even considered it.

Classic Phat DS.

Can't stand the buttons on the DS Lite, feels like I'm pressing into marshmallow or something. I'd consider one of those XL DSis at some point though I'd need a new piracy device.

Fly to the coins
I have the original DS and it still works perfectly, the outside is scratched but it still looks great on the inside, and the platinum color is great.

I haven't touched the DS Lite, though. Build quality is inconsistent and you may get one that could break with a small impact...Plus the fact that it has a charger that is not meant for anything else. It's inconvenient since the original DS charger could charge both GBA SP models, but negligible.

I also got the DSi and it is much better in comparison. Games don't even look pixelated on the slightly larger screen, and the cameras are actually very good in focus and in fact much better than some phone cameras because the images are crisp and not blurry even though it has a lower resolution than a phone camera.

The screen brightness actually goes up a notch further than the DS Lite, and you can lower or heighten the brightness even in game by pressing Select and the Volume buttons. You need new kinds of cards for them to work on it, but that's fine because they should also work on the other two. Clicky and solid buttons like the original DS. It also has DSiWare, even if at the cost of the GBA Slot. If I want to play GBA, I'll play it on the actual GBA or SP or my original DS. Don't care about the XL, it's basically the same thing but bigger.

Don't have any at all. If I were to get one, I'd probably go for the DS Lite because of GBA backwards compatibility (and so I can easily play Mother 3 on it!), or if GBA emulation gets better on the DSi I'd probably get the DSi XL because it isn't tiny.

I've been eying the DSi XL, but I'm content with my old, original DS. I have a bad habit of buying systems just before a new version is introduced, so I was not immediately enthralled with the DSi when I heard it would lack a GBA slot due to my GBA (also the original model) not having a back light.

...come to think of it, has the original DSi even been out for an entire year yet? Geez, Nintendo.

Anyone else ever get bothered by how Nintendo loves to release gimmicky updated models of stuff and then all the old peripherals suddenly become antiquated? Clever marketing scheme, but it pisses me off. :\

Classic DS (silver) with a broken hinge which is not my fault, and a low-life battery that lasts up to one hour on a full charge! (Said charge takes 3 hours anyway)

Then there's a DS Lite (white), which is in good condition. Mainly used as a slave for Pokémon trading.

Then there's a DSi (black) which I use as a lazy camera, web browser, and about most things.

Also, the DSi screen being bigger doesn't mean things are pixelated, it just means you can see and tap the edges easier rather than having a 2px border where you constantly hit the plastic area around it instead.

Blue original DS, which I sold.

White DS Lite, which just got worn out. Still works as long as you don't need the L button, want to use headphones to hear anything and like a scratched up screen. Not really scratched deep, just lots of really light scratches from being used.

Pink DS Lite. Nothing to note about this one...

Nintendo ds phat, only problem is that A/B/X/Y buttons are bit too small, as well shoulder buttons arent that great, though I never had any problems with them.

Lite is overrated, and I hate its d-pad and buttons, dsi lacks gba sold but should I care, sine I hate playing gba games on ds anyways and I have gba sp, oh and ds dosent play gb/c games wanyways

Had an original DS, gave it to a friend who was lonely and needed something to do, she kept borrowing her boyfriend's and stuff so I just let her have mine

Then I got a DS Lite, but it got hawked for bills so

Yeah I really don't want a DSi (yet)

I remember when one of my friend's little brothers came to me and said HEY LOOK, IT WORKS WITH A REAL PEN, luckily it washed right off..

edit; oh yeah. phat was blue, lite was silver, and I still have some styluses somewhere to remind me of what once was

I still own the original DS (or the "DS Phat"), but the hinges are broken and its not worth the repair at the moment.
I also own a gray DS Lite. I've considered staying away from the DSi until Nintendo decides to be a bunch of jerks and makes games only for the DSi, incompatible with the DS Lite/DS "Phat".

I have silver large DS which has served me well since late 2004 but recently, one of the hinges just broke off... I don't exactly know what happened either, but meh. I'm considering buying the DSi XL as I already have access to it but still contemplating on it....

I had a blue DS phat, which broke, while still under warranty but after the production of the original ceased, so then I got a free DS Lite with a navy blue lid and black bottom as a replacement. And then a few months ago I sold all my DS stuff so I have none

I have a DS Phat, it's working strong and long. The L button is kinda pissing me off though because it likes to not work at times... kinda a pain when I'm trying to check my EV's/IV's on HG/SS...

I've been wanting to get a Navy DS Lite because dark shades of blue are my favorite, I just don't have quite enough money to buy it.

I had a blue DS Phat that my friend sold me for $20 that I really only paid for because I wanted the game in the GBA slot because I didn't have it and already had my DS Lite.

I have a fingerprint magnet (Black) DS Lite, I've had it for about 2 and a half years and it still looks and works like brand new.

As for DSi, I can wait for it. I admit, it looks awesome, but I don't find it necessary to have one as things stand right now. Mainly because the Nintendo system I want right now is a Wii, which the last time I checked, is cheaper.

They already have: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DSiWare.

Not an impressive list so far, but it exists and you know it will grow.
