Or, more specifically, the Ted Woolsey translation of Final Fantasy III (SNES). I'm interested in creating a small hack for myself by adding difficulty to the game, but before I do so, I want to know if there's a way to correct three major glitches: Evade, Darkness, and M. Block?

Obviously, Evade and Darkness do not work, and having 128% M. Block practically means you are impervious to damage.

Any help?

Those are all basically the same glitch. If you fix evade you fix the other two as well.

Slick Productions has some FF hacking experts. Perhaps they might know how to fix those bugs.

I remember back in the day I decided to play a 'bugfixed' version of FF3US

The fans had put together patches to fix 50+ bugs in the game ¬_¬

I can't find them all, but I did find the evade fix patches:
