1. you sure it's not there if you scroll down?
2. open any folder in explorer, open the tools menu, choose folder options, and go to the file types tab to configure permanent settings for all that ____________________ |

Well I'm using an "Administrator" level account so it can't be that. ____________________ |

Just curious are you checking the box that says "Always use this program to open this type of file". You probably are, but just making sure. |

Well it started a few months ago when I updated VBA but trying to use the old version as the program-association doesn't work either. And the "Always Use" check-box isn't the issue because the program doesn't show up in the list in the first place. Also I only have this issue with some programs (VBA and a few others), other programs I try to add to the list work fine. ____________________ |

That Open With dialog is buggy. When I first started using XP, no matter what program I chose, it'd open with Wordpad. It likes to mess up associations too. I prefer to just edit them manually. |
