So I've just rediscovered the board2 stream.

It's aaaaawesome on a stick. And includes Japanese songs and Portal music.

That's all I have to say about it. 8D

This amazing song called Handlebars. It's by a band called Flobots, the album is called "Fight with Tools" I think. Unfortunately, besides this one song, the other songs on the album have a certain .. missing element, I think. They all sound very much like the exact same thing, and not nearly half as much meaning can be drawn from them.

Right now, I'm listening to the Azumanga character CD collection. I just finished two OSTs of the same, and just started on Chiyo Mihama's chara CD. Track 3 - "Sekai wa NEOHAPPY (off vocal)". Whistling along as it goes, like I often do with songs I like. "Sarabai! ~Happy Hen (off vocal)" is next, followed by a chara CD that I can't fuken read the tags of due to utter mojibake, but the file name tells me it's Kagura.

Wow, normally what's playing threads are really popular. What's up with you polk? Anyhow, I am listening to Warren Zevon's album Excitable Boy - probably one of my all time favourites. Right now Roland The Headless Thompson Gunner is playing, but this CD has so many great tracks, like Werewolves of London and Veracruz - many of the tracks have a deep, indicting sense of dark humour towards the problems of the time. It is funny, I didn't know much of Zevon when he passed on, but now I am all up on this stuff.

It might be because music is more easily discussed in IRC these days, and the "active nucleus" of the community strongly has shifted there...

Either way, I'm currently listening to Bruckner's 5th symphony. While not anywhere near as well known as the huge works by Beethoven et al., I'd say it's a quite beatiful piece of classical music.

"I Wish" by Infected Mushroom.

The original, not the Skazi Remix (which I also have). Skazi Remix is the one used in the infamous Lolicatgirls flash.

I posted the lyrics on my blog once. It got mistaken for original poetry.

Edit: Okay, now I'm listening to the Skazi Remix.

Currently I'm listening to "Ocean Realm" by Airbase.
To me, it's nice to my ears. I'm also starting to get interested in hearing more of Airbase's music.

Lately I've enjoyed Vocaloid, that I not only download the various songs I like, but watch the PVs as well. This is one of them that I like. In the english language, the song is entitled "Drowning Ourselves at the Cape", sang by Vocaloid characters Kagamine Len and Kagamine Rin.

For those who don't read Japanese... well, don't feel bad (I'm still learning myself). This video is basically about a brother and sister who have fallen in love with each other. Despite their incestious relationship, they are hated by their family due to loving each other, that they jump off the cape and drown. They loved each other that much that even as they drown, their love is proven that they hold one another's hand despite the cold waters of the cape and the sharp rocks of the sea they crash into.

DREAM THEATER - Metropolis part 2: Scenes From A Memory

Best Dream Theater album ever.
Amazing riffs, amazing lyrics, amazing singing, amazing bass, amazing keyboards, amazing drumming.

Amazing concept album. It's written like a musical play.

It's everything you need.

I'm listening to the Board2 Radio right now. At this exact moment, an opening song from Fate/Stay Night -- Disillusion.

I recently started listening to B2R and it's actually quite good.

At the very moment of writing this reply: nothing. On a normal day, I listen to massive mix playlists I made of music I've gathered from various places over the interwebs, or OSTs for various games (Mega Man, Final Fantasy, Mario, Phoenix Wright).

I've been listening to more Anberlin recently, their older stuff in particular. That includes their albums "Never Take Friendship Personal" and "Cities", though their newest album, "New Surrender" is also really good. Specific songs from the various albums being:

Glass to The Arson
Never Take Friendship Personal
Godspeed
Paperthin Hymn
Day Late Friend
Downtown Song
Runaways
The Unwinding Cable Car
Haight St.
Dismantle.Repair

my friend actually just burnt me the recent Green Day album, "21st Century Breakdown". It's actually all really good, and is a huge album, so it's worth the cost if you decide to buy it. 18 songs for $12 on itunes. Pretty good deal, no?

P-Model - Denshi Higeki/~ENOLA - Enola

Heard it in a Youtube video on a 2channel meme and liked it for its weirdness. Then, I guess all of Hirasawa's music has much of that.
