Get a hex editor. Any hex editor. Select and remove the first 512 bytes. Start hex editor.
Open ROM. Take mouse. Aim at the top left corner of the big panel with the numbers. Press down on the left mouse button and hold it down. Drag your mouse to the right side of the number part, but not all the way into the part with what's probably all dots. Still holding that button down, drag your mouse down (that is, towards you) until one of the strange numbers in the status bar (the probably gray strip on the bottom of the window) reads either "512" or "0x200". That'd depend on the specific editor and its settings. Release the mouse button. Find the Del or Delete key on your keyboard. Hit it. Once. If I meant 5120 I'd have said 5120. I said 512, so I didn't mean 5120. It seems you're looking at the offset markers all the way to the left -- those would be in hexadecimal, so you don't want 512. You want 200. Yes. You are lousy. I tried to help you here, but if you can't figure out how to remove a few hundred bytes from the front end of a file, you're quite definitely unfit for any form of ROM hacking.

Yes. There are tools for that. There are also two problems:
1) I can't name any because I add and remove headers with a hex editor like a thinking person. 2) I seriously doubt you'd be able to use them without having to come back here and get talked through every step -- even though it could be only one. And you already half-answered your own question about the pictures. Well sorry but I just make sure right kind of rom. Well I used to remove header NSRT tool. It that work too? It have add header and remove header.
Edit: Speaking of which this hack game, James didn't answer me about ganon boss. It same thing in Parallel World Ganon boss? Like hit him alot with arrow and sword. It same thing in Master Quest? Question for moderators
Since you've just mentioned a warning. I found a rare hack of Zelda3 for snes, called Stone Tablets. Can I upload an IPS patch that will convert the original game Link to the Past into this hack? The problem is that this ''hack'' was actually done by Nintendo, so no hacker owns it. Usually the ips contains the changes we made, but in this case the changes were also done by original authors. |
