If you haven't heard of it, it's a descriptor of various tendencies and thought patterns you may have, and how much you favor them. The official site has lots of information. Unfortunately, official tests require you to pay money for psychological evaluation.

However, here's a free test that doesn't require you to sign anything. It's pretty good. At the end there's a link to a few overviews of your type so you can really get a better feel of if you think it matches you or not. So, uh, take the test and post your results!

For me...

INTJ

50% favor for introversion, 25% favor for intuition, 50% favor for thinking, 89% favor for judging.

I vaguely remember taking this test before and getting very similar results (although I'm not sure I ticked the same as last time everywhere).

INTP

44% for introversion, 100% for intuition, 75% for thinking, 56% for perceiving

From what I've read about that evaluation, it appears to describe me quite well most of the time.

edit: The sparkling enthusiasm in "Dr. Keirsey's" INTP explanation text as linked by that site's result page suddenly seemed much less surprising when the author self-identified as one at the bottom.

I guess it kinda fits. I'm on the iPhone so I didn't bother to read the text profile, though.

I've taken these kinds of tests a couple times (in fact, I think I've taken the one Stark posted) and usually get INTJ or INTP.

"Or"? That doesn't sound too promising on accuracy.

It seems to vary between tests. Your guess as for why is as good as mine.

Seems to be what I got the last time I took one of these things, but a bit more introverted. Hope I'm not turning into a hermit.

I'm not quite sure what this means, but I guess the process of getting there was funner than the result.

I just looked up the summary for my type:

Seek to develop logical explanations for everything that interests them. Theoretical and abstract, interested more in ideas than in social interaction. Quiet, contained, flexible, and adaptable. Have unusual ability to focus in depth to solve problems in their area of interest. Skeptical, sometimes critical, always analytical.

Seems pretty accurate, seeing as I do much better in school while studying topics that interest me. I wouldn't say I'm that abstract though, but I do have trouble explaining how to do any say math problems to anyone else, though. Maybe my thought process is abstract and I don't realize it.

Contrary to (American) popular belief, introversion is not an undesirable trait...
Popular belief offset mixes introversion with shyness, which is an incorrect assumption...

ISTP

67 / 1 / 25 / 56

I went a lot from N to S here, but then again sometimes it changes depending on mood. I'd have to go find previous results to check that, though.
