Hello everybody
I'm a french zelda fan (and I don't speak english very well...) and I want to inform you about my hack of Zelda a link to the past. After a very hard work during the week, I'm very proud to finish my chapter 2. This game is really better than the first chapter and have 6 palaces ! I think that it's 10 hours of game. He is in english. The game begin 2 years after the death of Ganon. Link is no longer a knight and his Uncle is now the General of the Royal Army. There is a war since 2 years against the last servants of Ganon who want to invade Hyrule... But there is another probleme. The weather in Hyrule is very bad and a tempest make a lot of damages in hyrule... Sahasrala is very afraid... maybe Hyrule is in great danger... I hope that you will have a lot of fun with this new hack of Zelda 3 ! the blog : here

This looks quite promising. You might want to change some GFX to make it look futurish. |

Okay my first impression was these are some pretty buggy hacks, but I didn't run into anything game-breaking.
Anyway I'm still in the first hack, I just got the power gloves. I can't seem to figure out where to go or what to do next after running around for hours. Everywhere seems to be blocked by black rocks, and the only things I've gotten from areas in which I needed the powerglove were heart pieces. I guess I'll give it another go later. The chapter 1 overall wasn't as different from the original game as I thought it would be, but the maps were still different enough that it felt like a new game, a lot were barely touched though. I'd suggest clearing the maps and starting from nothing if you can as opposed to just re-arranging the levels, but still it turned out to be really fun. I did try out chapter 2 quickly, I couldn't find the area to get into the castle for the life of me, and wound up going into a couple different dungeons south of the town even. If the hack is meant to not give you the sword until later, I'd suggest finding a workaround so if you die, you don't lose all your progress and that text doesn't keep coming up every 5 minutes. and if its not I guess I haven't been looking for the entrance hard enough. I've got a shovel but I don't know where to dig. chapter 2 also seemed very buggy, the overlays especially. The maps seemed a lot more unique although I did recognize a lot of areas still. edit: and if anyone needs to know you need a headered rom to patch ____________________ |

For the chapter one : You can find a blue passe for the dark world under a block. This block is between the woods (blocked) and cocorico village. (At the same place of the passage in Alttp).
