There's has been a workaround trying to create the bonus room using Plains object sets. Pasting them is quite easy but these Blue-X Blocks still exist and I left some on the right side of the SNES screenshot. Object 20 in Bank 3 is the only 5-Byte object in SMAS because of it's vertical position set.

There are bonus room objects in Bank 3 for Plains Objects which goes from 20-2F. I haven't start Desert and Underground yet. Airship only has 1 new object which is the Upside down pipe.

I create this bonus room all night and it took 2 hours. SMB3 Workshop did no help at all except how the 4 byte objects are readable.

This is done by scratch by the way by deleting all Blue X Blocks except 1 next to the 1-UP brick before placing them in order by hex.

Things are being worked on...

How is this project coming along? Still kicking or is it dead? ^^'

It's pretty much dead. I haven't worked on it since August of last year, and it's pretty much over. I'm too busy on other projects plus real life to concern myself with the infinitely large CV3 hack of doom.

If it helps the activity around here, I have been working on a Super Mario Bros. 3 hack for two weeks, but I don't want to post any screenshots/videos, or any kind of info until I have World 1 done. World 1 is about halfway done though. I might release a demo of World 1 when it is complete. Just need to finish it, that's all.

I also have a strong interest in hacking Megaman again, so, we'll see on that too. I would love to see some more Megaman ASM hacks!

Before my winter break ended, I got a sudden desire to mess around with some games again But like usual, I lost interest fairly quickly (and the quarter began, so there goes wasted time!). But I did end up drawing these little things up.

I was gonna turn Maoi-Kun into a Dragon Quest-based puzzle game. This is as far as my interest got me ^^;; All my stuff turns out like this--I had a Nuts&Milk hack too that changed everything into a Zelda game where Link was collecting masks for the Mask Salesman. I actually had everything done but the levels... that was back in, like, '08 XD

I never really think of this, but the level someone made as a NES version then translated to the SNES version ends up like this. This custom level isn't SOPA related but SMB2USA related instead with my custom palette.

Lakitu spawns all types of enemies and not spinies. Yeah, AI editing required for instant explode Bob-omb which is ASM related.

Some koopa ram counter experiement. I wonder if length counters in level headers work.

New version coming soon. Most of the unit IDs are actually drawn using game's sprite data. Also, it will support the Japanese version of Bionic Commando (it will come with a 2nd EXE for that ROM). The Jap. version (Top Secret - Hitler's Revival) is rather different, by the way.

Heh I had a feeling people would think it was a joke but it's not its real, it just so happened I finished it on april 1, so it's more coincidence than anything.

Ah. Well, in that case, nice idea; the most pertinent application I can see would be something like particular easter eggs or secret exits only being, say, available between 50 and 55 minutes past an hour. (A beyond-just-cosmetic day/night system would be tricky - how would you deal with, say, players pausing emulation at "night" and then resuming in the middle of the "day"?)

As long as you leave the game in the emulator (meaning reset/pause it/leave it running/ or whatever) it will still keep time, but as soon as you load a new game the time would reset to the time you had in the patch, so one would need to make some sort of screen where the player could set the time. I planned on doing something like that, but I mine as well wait until LM can even support this.
