Thank you Googie! That's probably the 20th iteration of my new title screen, so it's a relief to hear something. Hehe.

Hee hee.

Still working away at this. All maps are in, working on code changes and other silly things. Will need to do some difficulty testing to set time limits and opponents

Next: Unit lists and CO Changes! *gasp*

Edit: For silliness, the rest was requested.

I had fun memories of Advance Wars 2. I'm glad I'm seeing a hack for it.

Here's 2 more pictures from upcoming Maverick Revenge 2

Yeah, the game is nearly finnished. Or, at least more finnished then the first one ever got. I have realy tried hard to elliminate all graphical glitches, and I think I've done a decent job at it. Hopefully I can let you guys play this soon.

These graphics are astonishing. Mickevincent... Have you designed all these graphics by yourself?
It steals my breath literally....

Googie

Thanx alot.
The graphics is a mixture of ripped graphics and made by me. Some is also ripped and then modified.
I've been very careful with what to take and what not cause I realy want the graphics to fit the levels.

The game is not far from finnished, I realy want you to play it as soon as possible

Just a friendly reminder to all those posting screenshots...

Please do not use the .bmp, or "bitmap" format. MS Paint likes to save to .bmp by default. Use .png.

Mickevincent, if you would be so kind, please edit those links to include one in another format other than .bmp.

All I will say for now is that it is no longer a hack.

Does that mean you'll be using Game Maker then?

Multimedia Fusion 2.

I'm using the NES resolution, and I'm programming this game to act just like Zelda II does. It is so much fun, because there are virtually no limitations. I can do whatever I want. And I can upgrade the graphics quality without being limited to what I can do in the ROM. And when it is done, it will be released in executable format. No ROM involved. The screen you see is how big the window will appear, but I will include the option to make it full screen, downsize it, and custom controls configuration.

But I as I said, I AM following the NES format. This includes the resolution and proper tile alignment. The only thing that won't be as exact is the colors, as I'm tweaking them to optimize graphics quality. But I don't see too much of a problem with that, as people can make custom palettes and load them into the emulators.

Gotcha, I always wanted to make my own game with my cartoon characters with either programs but I don't know programming. People tell me that Multimedia Fusion 2 is easy to get into though...
