Does someone has a list of the objects and offsets saved on there computer, or a new link?
This link seems to be dead: http://acmlm.kafuka.org:81/uploader/get.php?id=1939
Oh and i have 1 more question: If this project is dead, may i then have the SMA4 editor that you where working on? Oh and the source code if possible, maybe i can do something with it.

This is as far I can bring you, the rest is up to you to contact and see about getting the editor if it still exists.

Good luck.

A snippet of something... Solar Magic Advance 0.4!

This time, when it will be released... it should be able to make/edit levels.

Source Code will be available there:
https://github.com/LuigiBlood/smagicadv

I finally have a bit of time to spend on that, though it will take some time, as I have other projects to work on as well, but this time it should be able to edit levels. When it's ready, I'll make another topic as it goes.

As for why the TreeView again... it's just a matter of being able to do a working editor without taking huge time. But it will work, I learned a lot in programming since then, and it should go right.
And this time, no Liberty Basic, no Visual Basic .NET, no Python, but C#, which I've been familiar enough for a long while.

I promised too much stuff back then (Solar Core), but I'll make a working Level Card editor. Getting that motivation back wasn't very easy, but I think I should be able to come up with something in the next months, at most.

I am still up for helping you build this editor.

So what I can get from the source, this is just the tree view with hard coded content. Correct? Is the tree view suppose to show existing e-card level data?

Like 0.33, it shows what's in the Level Card data... well, when it's programmed. But I'm thinking of how I can do it right without making it a mess of a source code like 0.33 did with Visual Basic.

But I'm keeping your offer in mind.

Just added a few important structs.

Hi everyone. I haven't posted on here in almost 3 years, wow.

Anyways, just wanted to let you know that I updated my SMA4 e-reader files.

The current version is now v1.3: http://www.mediafire.com/?2ebt8rqyz30zf2r

These files contain EVERYTHING one would need with regards to playing all the sma4 e-reader levels, translated into English.

I re-arranged the documentation around to make it easier to navigate through the files. I also deleted the extra saves so that there is only 1 SMA4 sav file. It lacks the Classic World files. But to re-insert them, all one has to do is use sma4savtool.

I plan on including the .level and .sav files of Mad Dash (version 1.2) in v1.4 of my files, which I have scheduled to work on sometime soon. College is very time consuming...

For the time being, use my mediafire link for downloads. Enjoy

Hey Renegade!
Were you able to add the Mad Dash level and create the 1.4 version of the package? :O

I started working again on Solar Magic Advance 0.4.
Right now, you can fully edit the eCoin Data.

I planned to add Import/Export RAW data, in case you prefer using a tile editor.
I hope you didn't mind the hiatus and now I'm getting serious about it.

Reminder, the source code is updated there:

Absolutely nothing yet. We documented the level format of a Level Card (not the same as in ROM), there's still some stuff we don't know about as well.

My editor can edit eCoin Data, sure. But it can't save a whole level. You need to wait a few months for that.

Managed to finally apply the translated names over to the actual e-reader level card data. These are located on http://caitsith2.com/ereader/sma4.htm

It was the lack of a working compressor that had proven to be the initial road block from doing that.

wonderful caitsith2. one problem; all of the levels with the fully translated english names I've tested work except Bowser's Airship Part 1.

After loading the "mushroom 29 - Bowser's Airship Part 1.raw" file into no$gba emulator and attempting to play Bowsers Airship Part1 level, it would start off messed up like this:

mario or luigi would no longer be on screen and the messed up airship would keep scrolling to the right and I would automatically die. seems like that RAW file has some incorrect level data and needs a do-over. can you fix this?

Okay, bug fixed Bowser's Airship part 1. The update is available in http://acmlm.kafuka.org/uploader/get.php?id=4836

This pack also includes the official B-Dash level that was ripped from the dumped save file.

Can someone convert the official B-Dash level that caitsith2 provided to .level format so that I can add it to my save file, please?

caitsith2,

I'd like to thank you for all that you have contributed to the cause of SMA4 e-levels. Your files, documentation, and work are greatly appreciated, especially for the official B-dash level. The sav file that you made many years ago for the US and JP versions that contained most of the levels are still on my US and JP carts. I used an xboo cable then that I made with a DB25 connector and a GB Micro link cable. For ALL that you have done in bringing the e-Reader content to the masses for maximum enjoyment of this great game, I simply cannot thank you enough.

As for others, thank you for your efforts as well. I'm not really interested in creating custom levels or anything like that. I'm just interested in ALL of the official Nintendo SMA4 e-Reader content. With the amazing advancements in dumping e-Reader cards, the e-Reader save with SMA4 transfer program, no$gba for emulation of the card scan, and various utilities written by caitsith2 and others, it's so easy to enjoy this content without having to spend hundreds of dollars on rare cards and equipment. I mean really, what was Nintendo thinking with a setup like this? Anyway, with the hardware and dedication from others, one can easily create save files and upload them to the original cart.

GBATemp has dumped the SMA4 ROM released in the WII U Virtual Console (VC), which CONTAINS ALL THE E-READER LEVELS (yes, including MAD DASH too !) Looks like Nintendo removed the limitation for 32 levels only.

http://www.romhacking.net/hacks/2714/

The .ips and .xdelta patch : [ROM link removed.]
APPLY THE PATCH TO : "super mario advance 4 - super mario bros. 3 (usa, australia) (rev 1) rom". [ROM link removed.]

All credits go to Sonic_Cee_Dee of GBATemp and to Romhacking.net.

Hello, Baron99. Welcome to Board 2.

Thanks for the updated news. I did happen to notice the news when it was posted on Romhacking.net:
ROM Hacks: Super Mario Advance 4: eReader Version

However, next time, please don't post direct download links to ROMs. This is a pretty standard rule in the ROM hacking community. Thank you.
