Note: no screenshot exists, as this is an internal system mod that triggers a timed effect.

Lycanthropes were not available as a playable class in the release version of the game. If you change one of your characters into either a lycanthrope (03) or werewolf (2A), they will not transform with the moon and remain whichever they happened to be. This patch corrects that behaviour, assuming of course you manually change a party member into one of these ;*)
(A nice Nightmare module exists to do this, as well as GS code formulas)

There are two flavours to this patch. You can use GameShark codes on console or in most emulators, or you can patch the ROM with the .ups file provided. Note that the patch is slightly different: werewolves transform when vampires do, from 6pm to 6am, instead of 9pm to 6am. Codes are listed below.

Sorry, but the patch and codes are only designed for the North American release; I don't have copies of the japanese or PAL cartridges, but source is provided if you'd like to try to port the code.

Again, this only fixes lycanthrope transformations. You will need to make a lycanthrope, but there's plenty of documents on class changing.

Patch Version:
The patch is a ups file, so to apply it use byuu's ups patcher. You can find Windows and Linux patch tools at:
http://byuu.org/

Only apply it to an unbyteswapped, North American release (NOBE) game -- and do respect copyright law. If you can't obtain a legal backup copy of the cartridge, use the codes instead.

GameShark Version:
There are two versions of the GameShark codelist, one designed specificly for 3.x users using code generator.

For console users who may not know, you require an enabler to play the game with codes. Emulators do not require this. For GameShark v3.2, this code is:
"Enabler"
F109A730 2400

If you are using emulation for whatever reason, or you can't use the code generator version below, use this codeset. Again, this is only for the North American (NOBE) release version.

This special edition codelist is almost half the size, but requires a few special conditions:
1) You must be using a GameShark v3.x
2) Code Generator must be ON
3) The code must be the first code in the list (the enabler doesn't count)
4) You must have an 8MB expansion pak installed (to use code gen)
The reason for this is that it hacks the codelist to extend the range of the activator. The code must be the first one in the list activated in order to assure the value it changes is the right one.
If it gives you nothing but trouble, use the longer list from above.
Do not use this with emulators!
