ELEVEN VOTES for Miner's Lament? That sullen, grey, thing? No offense to KP, but I absolutely DO NOT like that scheme.

Gray's a pretty sweet color, though. And, out of KP's themes, it definitely looks the least actively terrible. It's definitely my second pick after Minus World.

I rather think it's pretty terrible (again no offense to KP, most of his other themes are great). It mostly lies in the starkness of the back ground, it kinda sticks out and makes the theme less sad and more OHSHIZIT YEW DEID IN WOW.

You have something against starkness?

Not always, no, but sometimes a mood can be set or broken with something. Looking at the scheme just kinda makes it seem less depressing, it's kinda like looking at a magic eye, but in complete black and white, and the brightness toned up some.

But you usually have something against stark things! I think you're trying to pick a fight with this here Stark.

No, not really, there's a difference between a noun and an adjective, you know.

:O Where's Arabian Gold?

Guess I'll toss out my vote for Fragmentation. It's clean and crisp, and not as dead looking as Miner's Lament.

Ah, but Blue Storm was never brought up as an option in the initial staff discussion.

Also Arabian Gold is terrible and screw you for bringing it up. Yeah, it's just a recolor of a set of generally well-liked stuff... But it's a terrible, terrible, awful recolor. The only worse scheme is Tyty's scheme.

Which begs the question -- whatever happened to AE Torture? I mean, I'm sure there could be a fun application or two for that.
While I'm at it, why not extend the coin functionality to buying new schemes or something like that?

So my scheme reminds you all of AE Torture?... That feels like a kick to the groin. D:

And honestly, I don't like Miner's Lament or Daily Cycle. :/

/me votes fragmentation

I'm glad it's not *totally* at the bottom of the barrel...

I didn't think it would be that popular anyway. I only made it for the minority. I see that some people use it and I'm glad it's getting use. I'd *like* Nostalgia to be the main scheme, but it has issues with transparency with older browsers (like work computers) and wouldn't work well as a default.

I blame xkeeper for Emerald Envy... it was supposed to be all green and he screwed it up.

I like the music in AE torture, I dunno why.

Anyway, just checked em all out. I personally like Miner the best, and am now keeping it, instead of standard .

I agree with you. Miners Lament is a rather ugly-looking beast. (No offense to KP, and so on).
Personally, I voted Fragmentation.

But really? I think it should be the old Fish Fad theme. :3

EDIT: Or Desolation, but only if everything was fixed up. Like the background. And the logo.

I think people with godawful post layouts should not have a say in what the board layout should be.

That means you, rox and Marzen.

Edit: To a lesser extent, Tyty.

Your opinion. I know several peoples who like it. Don't like the coloring job? Complain to Kawa. Don't like the drawing job? Kiss my ass, the artist is awesome. Besides, I once had a good layout here, no one had ever complained of it before, most said it was fucking awesome. You deleted it, cause it was "too bright". It was red, yes, but not that bright .

Anyway, on subject, Miner's Lament is actually a very nice scheme. I like gray, so I'm all for it. If you don't like it, switch to something else and don't complain .

With it not looking like many new votes are incoming, it might make sense to axe Daily Cycle too and tell the people to conclusively spread their votes between Fragmentation and Miner's Lament...

I take no offense from those who stated that they disliked my theme. After all, this *is* a thread all about opinions.

Also, thanks to everyone who voted for my themes. It gives me a vote of confidence and indicates that I am getting better at what I do. Thanks!

I agree on this. It'd probably be best if we finally get a conclusive vote so we can get rid of the overused old theme.
