If hypnosis has a lower accuracy in platinum, what happens when you play against D/P online?

The version that determines the effects of the changed moves is whichever version hosts the battle.

Oh, I thought there was some way to get it in-game.

That would have been sweet.

But no.

Almost to the last gym

Then to the elite 4.

I should lead with my electivire at the 8th gym, it's an electric gym, so that would be a dick move on my part.

The discussion earlier about balance in Pokémon does make me wonder if the series would be more intresting if taken as a MMORPG, with balances put in automatically.

Though I have it blocked right now, I've seen Google place an ad for an actual Pokémon MMORPG on this very site where appropriate.

Every player seemed to look like Brendan. Kinda scary. The only way to distinguish eachother was by the floating names.

Well if it's not Nintendo endorsed I wouldn't be surprised if it was take down sooner or later.

From the sound of it though, it's probably crap.

Yeah, I have heard from people who have tried it that it is awful. Also, hilariously easy to grief newbies.

Noting that I base all of this on the banner ad, they could at least include some kind of recolor thing.

I highly prefer the DPP method and use an NPC sprite that's chosen somehow.

It's amazing how good Pokemon is for wasting time on the tedious hour of busriding I need to do twice a day at present.

Unfortunately, I'm now up to that tedious stage where you realise that because you raised a rounded team you're about 20 levels too weak to touch the E4. ;

Odd because the levels of the E4 are actually lower than DP.

Welcome to the land of resetting the game a million times. I had a similar issue in Pearl where I just went through the game so damn fast, I ended up grossly under-levelled at the Elite 4. Although, I -did- buy like 30 Full Restores and 10 Revives for the whole damn thing.

Only 10 revives? Why not more?

I'm looking like I'm not going to have that problem when I get there (I stopped playing Platinum when I became swamped with work). In D/P it happened but I won anyway because of item shenanigans, but in D/P the combat mechanics were a lot slower so I repelled through a lot, but I fight every time now so I'm just stronger.

It's more a fact that the first guy has a level of like 48 and the last one has level of like 65. ;

Rounded teams are always underlevelled in-game, and the only reason I didn't have an issue in Pearl was because about half my team was starters traded off the GTS so they were growing crazyfast. My current Platinum team is all my trainer's pokemon so growing is slow.

Hm. I wish I could trade with my Diamond game when I get platinum but I'd need another DS.
