I want to eventually make a megaman hack, because after a few weeks of MMU and rockman exhaust(Totally overlooked hack BTW) im hooked, and wanted to take my own ideas to action.

I guess something that has a really easy interface, because programs like Mega FLE X really have complication issues... and i havent the slightest clue how to ASM or HEX

Well, I know it may make you cringe, but one of the most user-friendly hacking games is Super Mario World. It doesn't get much easier than that.

I've used it before, some parts i get some parts i dont.

Not Lunar Magic, but if you check around enough, you can find addmusic - a program that does just that. Your best place to start is probably ... here. :/

The best thing you can do is just hack what you know how and leave the rest. Don't expect to make a good one, just change it so it's different.
