Do you mean a separate uploader? When we upload things, we then link it to the Wiki where users have separate pages to showcase their work. So, if that's the case then a special uploading section might be all we need provided the files from the board2 uploader can be moved and linked accordingly.

if we could have them uploaded straight to the current data, that'd be great. And the whole rating idea is fantastic, and would be a great help in getting the Theme of the Month going again! Also, just rating the stuff and being able to leave reviews would be a great way to send feedback!

Last view: 3213 days 		What do you mean, uploaded straight to the current data? Unfortunately, they'd have to be uploaded again to the frontpage, since the data structures and the storage is so different, plus I wouldn't know where to find the information on each one.

That said, are there any specific features or parts of creations that should be kept as information, and how should the fraxy creations be sorted?

I meant stored where the rest of the bosses are, the Board2 Uploader, but it seems like that isn't possible, from your post.

Just store them as their basic .fed files, no reason for anything else. have the option to, when you upload the .fed, you upload an image file along with it, so it has the picture. The upload form could be like:

[Boss (.fed) file] {Choose} (that's a button)
[Boss Image (any image file type] {Choose}
Description: [(empty field to enter description)]

Something like that, maybe. And have the option to toggle windows on the front page for Newest Bosses, Top Rated Bosses, etc. And have a search function, by name, creator, or part of the description.

This is quite a bit to be asking for, I know, but I feel it would really streamline this. Tell me if you need any more clarification ^.^

As for uploading to the uploader, that may or may not be possible. I'll have to see, because as it is the frontpage uploads to it's own directories.

Searching might be possible too, but depending on the possible server strain may end up being cut.

The way the current ROM Hacks part works seems like it would be good, a lot more useful than just a plain uploader.

If you can or can't, I guess it's not a problem, and same with searching.

And the way the ROM hacks areuploaded seems like a good way to go about things, I agree with NK on that.

EDIT:

Oh, you could also add windows that display the most recent wiki updates, and a wiki news window (like the basic news window). These could be closed and opened from the toolbar like the radio, so people who don't need to know about Fraxy can not have to deal with them.

It's definitely possible, wikimedia software has a whole bunch of hooks for the various info (edits, block logs, etc etc) and we already have the FraxyBot reporting a whole bunch of stuff.
