You have a point, there.

Problem, I might completely fuck up the weapon (probably not, I'll make backups).

Check this page out, all the numbers/etc of the parts have been mapped out.
Edit: Fixed URL because someone (/me looks at blackhole89 and/or Sukasa) STILL hasn't made it so emoticons aren't parsed in urls.

For some reason, even if the URL worked for me when using the Compendium, it does not seem to work when you posted it here for some reason. So, on that note, it's under the reference index as "Editing .fed Files" for those having the same problems as me.

How about a glow effector, so we don't have to use Parts-Regen/ect.
Also some kind of shapes effector/part, so we don't have to use Searchlights, and so we can make other shapes like hexagons and octagons, instead of just squares and Triangles.

some kind of Deviation value, similar to BSF, where the bullet fires in random directions at a specified angle (like how you specifiy the Barriers ring.)
Like the WF player ship gun? That would be useful, there have been times I would've liked to have an option for that...

I would like a smoke effector/weapon. Does no damage, spits clouds/stream of smoke, with the purpose of being able to add realism to stuff and/or have an option to block the Player's view without restricting his movement. I guess it could work like a Burner.

Hmm...Maybe a Revival part that recreates a weapon at it's original point when it dies, and you could set the number of times it brings it back before it stops working.

A Dead Man's Volley part.
It consists of a cannon on a barrier-like thing.
You use a blaster-type weapon to deflect the projectile back at the part, which in turn uses its barrier to hit the projectile back at you.
After several consecutive volleys, the barrier will break and the part will appear to be stunned before resetting.
If the projectile decays before it is hit (or if it hits you), the internal counter is reset.

Extra Params:
1: On/Off switch.
2: Initial speed of projectile.
3. Final speed of projectile
4. Curve of projectile
5. Init speed increment/hit
6. Final speed increment/hit
7. Consecutive hits sustainable before barrier breaks
8. Fade time of projectile

Notify status:
1: Returning a volley.
2: Barrier cracks
3: Barrier resets

Energy line tractor beam? Is that something like Raiden 2's pink homing laser? I'd love to see that on Fraxy too!

in fact, you can already make a sort of tractor beam with the Sonic Wave parts and use of extra parameters.

I haven't tested it, but I guess the "waves" still go the same way, right?

Makes it a bit confusing to get pulled in when the "waves" should be pushing you, but well =D

Nope. When you change it to attract, the wave animation plays in reverse.

Double posting noeeeeees!

Anyways:
Enemy part suggestion: Rockets
Imagine non-homing missiles. Those would be the rockets. The difference is that the rockets would explode creating a very quick moving shockwave damaging the player depending on the distance between him and the center of the explosion. If the rocket explodes a pixel away, you are dead (Attacker Lv1 energy).

Either this or a shockwave generator that does the same, so you can make the missiles throw a shockwave on detonation.

Well, non-homing missiles can be made now and after a time they can have an explosion that will damage anything in the area. But having a rippling effect for the missile/rocket would be a cool idea. On that, an additional option or even a new weapon should be a Nuke similar to the Missile in operation.

BTW, there's a wishlist on the Wiki: Fraxy Wishlist

the closest thing we have to a shockwave generator are the grenades, and you can have the missile "fire" a grenade explosion when it explodes, which is the closest you can get to what you're describing. with a lot of messing around, you could probably set up a ripple on a move joint that gives it that effect, but the boss would have to be stationary for the effect to work
