I'm back from my slumber!! Almost 300 days of hiatus! Hi, y'all!

Sorry for my absence, but I went through a downward spiral worthy of a mockumentary. Too many problems in my personal life. I even went hermit. Didn't connect myself to the internet for almost a whole year. But now I'm back!

Regrettably, the forum I promote in my sig is no longer up. I have to contact MathOnNapkins to see what happened.

Now, I'm back on my game and in focus. I hope to bring this project up to speed soon. I have Xmas vacation to work on some stuff. So I'm gonna dust off my notes and my codes and get back into it!

Thanks to everyone who supported my project in the beginning! I hope to bring something new soon!

@icheatatgolf:

Yes! I am very interested in what you did with the TalTal Heights track! Unfortunately, youtube took down the video. So if you have any other way of showing me, I'm all ears!

Nice to hear that you are back and working on this game.
It is very promising.

@Disco Peach

I've heard that you want to change the Zora Domain area
into the beach area. I've tried something similar
when one of my roms got corrupt and I wanted to transfer
the data to other rom. But this rom has different gfx tiles
and the picture was corrupt. Changing the gfx value doesn't help.

So I was wondering how do you import export the tiles' gfx
from one rom to another?

I also tried the search option in HMagic where you have the
find blocks window. Here you can save and load. You can
save normally, but when you load such .dat file, nothing is changed.
The picture is still corrupt.

Look for Orochimaru's Guide to Zelda3 Rom Hacking. Everything you could want to know about using Hyrule Magic is there.

As for passing the info from one file to another, I wouldn't know exactly what's wrong. If the rom got corrupt and then you exported the grafix, maybe the graphix got compromised because of the corruption. If you can still open the original rom with HM, I suggest mapping out the changed you made and start them from scratch with a new rom. I know that that's probably not the answer you wanted, but HM is a pain in the ass to use. I've had to completely redo a lot of things a lot of times.

Sorry if my answer wasn't that helpful, but that guide I told you about tells you how to import/export graphix with HM. You need other programs as well (which I highly recommend), like zcompress (needed to import and export the graphix directly into the rom) and any graphix editor of your choosing.
