Desktop with IRC open, which is usually always.

Generic wallpaper.

I should comment on the current failure of tinypic that's going on there.

KP, that sidebar looks awful. I cannot properly express my feelings toward it.

The sidebar to me looks incredibly useful, but it appears as Haz said, awful. I imagine you could find a custom theme to make it look smoother though, if you did some looking.

Mine is just basic, and clean. It's how I always keep it.
I use WinXP, and the theme is "XPMC". (I think)

And put the star blocks in a neat pile, too.

I have the exact same desktop, but without the letterboxing, and with only three icons on it.

I made a little bit of a change.

Also I sorted out my icons.

Want the left wallpaper? It certainly is very nice...

I prefer Win xp because its easy to use for me , and this windows has a less demand on requirements, and my max resolution is for 1360x768.

But I don't understand a thing, When I have a better resolution than 1280x720, I'm still seeing in HD or have to be that exact resolution?

The resolution is semi-acceptable, but there is no excuse to continue using windows xp. If you legitimately cannot run win7(doubtful) you should be using a lightweight linux distro.

Depending on the person. If someone has no experience with Linux and doesn't really care to run a Linux OS, why exactly would they all of a sudden go with Linux?

If someone can't go to Windows 7, then what they'd be better off doing is seriously considering doing everything they can to upgrade their computer and using XP for the time being (unless said person is familliar with / likes Linux).

That's pretty clichéd. Do your parents beat you when your choice of desktop backgrounds is culturally treacherous?
