Hello everyone. Iam realy hard working on my MM4 hack but I realy wanna do things wich I actualy don't realy now how to do. For example, the mega man warp animation. There is only 1 tile when he comes down from the sky, how can i change so it consists of maybe 3 tiles? I know it's in a Hexeditor it should be done and I have Matrixz document for the game. If I paint like 3 tiles in Tile Layer Pro, how do I make the make the game use those tiles in the animation instead of the only original one?
Maybe its to much to ask for but Iam realy trying to learn! Thanx! |

You should learn how sprites are loaded and displayed on the NES, and learn ASM. When those two are mastered quite well, you should also check if the corresponding PRG bank on the ROM has some free space left...
You must know very well the code that is used to draw the tiles in the warp animation. Then, modify the code accordingly, using some free space as needed... |
