I need help (Again) on how to Switch the TSA Attribute settings of the Question blocks. Because I could not find the right table, And I do not know the values of each block's properties.
There are Sky Blue, Yellow(Current), Green and Dark Blue(Option for SMB1-style) If anyone got more info. It really will be appreciated Attribute Format is just like in SMB1: 2 LSRs (equals 4 colors, Each color is in 63 metatiles, $3F in hex) and Store in the Lowest Temp byte ($00 in SMB1). I know how to make the Golden Animation work, But I need help with this first. ____________________ Mah boi, romhacking is what all true warriors strive for! I wonder what's for dinner? |

I'm no entirely sure what you mean. Are you wanting to change what palette the ? blocks use? If so, that's going to take a lot of work. All blocks in SMB3 are colored based on their block value. Blocks $00-$3F use palette 1, $40-7F use palette 2 and so on. |

Posted by DahrkDaiz If there is either a Data table, or an ASM routine that determines where the Question blocks are in the TSA Table, Can you post it here. (I tried C9 XX/CMP $[Block] and just plain old $[Block] and there isn't any use) Either that or Make a new Attribute Engine. Which I can't do. due to the NES's hard-to-learn format. ____________________ Mah boi, romhacking is what all true warriors strive for! I wonder what's for dinner? |
