A utility I had lying around on my old computer before it toasted itself - A pokemon Advance Save File viewer. It'd load any Save File from Fire Red/Sapphire/Emerald (Either from GBA or Ripped from the cartridge's storage) and would let you see the EV/IV/Hidden Powers and various other things in a gui....it was rather handy.

From memory it was just called 'Pokémon Save Viewer'

While it's not a 'hacking' utility per se, I'd figure this would be the best place to ask if anyone knew where I could find it. :/

I use UIPS to work with IPS patches on Linux. It is a very simple command line tool, but you may need to compile it for your specific distro, which is easy to do.

UIPS is also available for Mac OS X. It is an excellent tool for creating and applying patches.

I can't believe that none of VL-Tone's Super Mario 64 tools are listed. Also, I can't believe that I just noticed that now.

Toad's Tool 64
Super Mario 64 ROM Extender and Text Wrangler

Well, no wonder... it would appear said old website of yours comes up first when googling for "trackDES".
Either way, welcome, enjoy your stay etc.; by the way, did you ever consider making an English translation of your website (it's not like I don't understand German, but that is the case for the vast majority of people here)?

Are there any level editors out there for Super Mario Bros. 2 (Japan)?

If so, then please submit a tutorial if the program is not in the English language.

I don't know if this is the right place but it have something to do with Rom hacking Utilities. Let us take for example the program "RomEdit". Everytime I open it, I get a MBit 16-Sub-DOS Error. What is that and how can I fix this? The same happens with the BgMapper.

Please add:
Hyrule Magic
to your editor list.
It's for editing The Legend of Zelda: A link to the past SNES game.

I have problems with the level editor "EggVine". I use a correct rom, everything works fine, I just have problems with the pipes. I placed in the first level a normal "working down pipe" (tile number: 3C). Then I set the destination of the screen to level 3A. In 3A, I placed the same working down pipe but the problem is that I don't know how to flip the pipe so it looks downward. I took a look at the original game but however, it was the same pipe (number: 3C) but stretched like a big, big wall. So my question is: How can I flip the pipe so it is downward?

Did you try stretch the pipe and then check in the game?

It's possible that EggVine doesn't handle upside down pipes correctly, and it's possible that a bit that is normally for the length is for "upside down" pipe.

There is one utility I absolutely recommend this community needs.
IPSelect is a program which lets you patch only certain parts of an ips file to a ROM.

Agave, an Adventure Island 3 level editor I did while I was on my vacations. Edits mainly enemies and items positions and level scenes. Done entirely in Java 1.1 help Windows, Linux, MacOS and many other O.S. users.

When i have more time i'll add more usability features to help users understand the bank switching system (You can't use any enemy in any area, even if that enemy belongs to that area, because banks change between stages and also in the same stage at the middle of it!)

Sorry for the bump, but I needed to let others know that I'm here to contribute also
