I made a cheap map editor for one of the Fire Emblem games two years ago, and it ended up being used a good deal by some other forum. I think it was FE8.

Does anybody know what became of it?

Right now I and a couple other hackers are making a huge hack of Rekka (FE7), replacing the characters with older Fire Emblem characters, new story lines, ect. Zeld's been looking into random ASM aspects of the game, and he'shelping us out as well. We were hoping to see if Seima (FE8) was just another copy of the other two GBA Fire Emblems, map-data wise everything else is but I don't think anyone has tried to open a map in Rekka using FireVine. We're hoping we can use it, but you know, if you're not busy, maybe you could... hrm... do some more with the editor ^^;;

Yeah, I'd actually like to. Summer break's starting up for me in a few weeks, and I was hoping to have a ROM hacking project this summer.

How much format/offsets are known, and where's the best summary you know of?
