Here's the patch.
I found this hack through a torrent site fellas, this is pretty good. It plays pretty smooth with no glitches so far, and whoever did this hack did a pretty sweet job getting ridda the cut scenes, Mega Man's ducking graphics is when he slides & the shooting up graphics look pretty good too. And the broom is replaced with the MM2 rocket. Right now I'm up to World 2, I figure you guys might like this hack. Enjoy... It'd be sweet to see a hack done like this for Darkwing Duck... ^^' Make sure you use the American version of the Magical Doropie rom. ____________________ My Linktree |

Holy shit.
It must be a Rockman 1 hack. I better host it in my site immediately. Then RHDN after trying the hack. Thanks for finding it. |

It's not a Rockman1 hack, it's a hack of Magical Doropie, a Mega Man clone. Here's the game with the original sprite...
You're welcome... ' ____________________ My Linktree |

I gave it a try for a little bit, was interesting, but I gave up, quit and deleted the rom shortly after because I can't bare to play with that game's mechanics, they're not very smooth. And trying to work with that broom item whatever weapon is a real pain in the ass that it wont ever appear unless you move backward like half a whole screen length just so it dosnes't touch a wall and instantly disappear, and sometimes it just plain doesn't work period.

Nice find Googie, I wish the author would have used ASM to make the broom item stay with you. I'm keeping this ROM incase it becomes lost like a few other hacks out there. ____________________ - Nikki |

oO
I must say it's very absurd to hack a Megaman clone into a Megaman hack. Then the japanse hackers always seem to like to go for the unusual. ____________________ AIM: gamefreak1337, MSN: Emil_sim@spray.se, XMPP: ailure@xmpp.kafuka.org

Posted by Stufid It won't get lost. I promise. I upload it here. I'm not sure about RHDN, but in order to host it, I need the author's name who made it. Another thing is the hack should be sucuessfully approved in the next day or 2 days. |

Posted by Ailure no more absurd than what I am doing to 8-eyes. Same business, but mine is more ASM involved. |

And I find them both fascinating.
As for Magical Doropie, I think it would be a great base for a Mega Man hack centered on one of the support characters or enemies. Maybe a game starring Roll or Bass/Forte. Maybe it could be the story of how Dr.Wily put Bass through some rough training after he first created him? Still, it was a great find! =) |

In case you haven't know, there is a Touhou Megaman/Rockman Parody game called MegaMari and Marisa is a Spellcaster.
I orginally want to put Marisa in the MM Hack but that no longer exist. Second, I recently put Doropie's tiles onto MM but dosen't fit too well. I could now use Doropie for Marisa now but it's still no use. |

Posted by Googie I hear you man, only thing is it must be a pain in the ass to find the data to skip the intro in the beginning after DW says his speech, and the data so not to see the ending, it could be like the game would reset itself after the speech at the end. And to make Mega Man look good in the game, not like that fugly Rockman 5 hack of Darkwing Duck. Just thinking about this make my hed hurt lol! ^^' ____________________ - Nikki |

I always thought DWD would be a great base for a Protoman hack. |

Googie & Dragonsbrethren are working on a MM1 hack with graphics from DWD, I hope that project isn't cancelled. ^^'
Sorry for being off topic Goog... ____________________ - Nikki |

Posted by Stufid I'm not gonna let that project die, hacking 10 levels in MM1 is better than 32 levels in SMB lol! All I gotta do is figure out how I'm gonna have the levels scroll. ____________________ My Linktree |

Posted by StufidWouldn't skipping a intro be relativly simple? After some reverse engineer of the game machine code of course. :p ____________________ AIM: gamefreak1337, MSN: Emil_sim@spray.se, XMPP: ailure@xmpp.kafuka.org
