I haven't posted in here in months. I'm not rom hacking anymore (sadness). Im wondering if anyone here has also got on a weight loss plan and stuck with it? I've been on one for about a month now and the results are wowish, Here's a side by side of me a year ago and me today:

This is me hitting 250ish. I started at 243 when I started my diet. Here is me today, 20lbs lighter,

I've just done this the old fashion way. Cutting back the food drastically, regular exercise and encouragement. Anyone else have a weight loss story to share?

Well, I was like 180 pounds in junior high. Then my dad married my new stepmom, a health nut and vegan. I never became vegan (my sister did though), but since she cooked the overall effect on my diet was pretty high, with health foods and everything. When I started college last year I was down to ~140 and thin as a stick.

Ah, well Im also working out with weight resistance so that's an added benefit to the weight loss, I'll look good when I get down to a low weight.

I take it that you won't be needing Wii Fit.

Currently I'm a 140 pound stick figure. I think I need to start an exercise program to build muscle. I can barely bench press a pound over 70.

I caught a severe stomach-affecting flu variation a while back and wound up spending three days straight vomiting up every single breadcrumb I consumed. In the process, I went down from 158lbs to 147lbs (I'm 6'5" tall).

Does that count as a weight loss story?

Regarding your pictures, in the light of commonly abound stories of diets and the like actually not being effective at all, I'm surprised how well it seems to have worked for you, and what optical effect just 20 pounds apparently have.

It's good to see that nerds around the world are making an effort to better themselves, or can at least see they're overweight.

I'd imagine most people here are underweight, myself included.

Huh. That kinda implies that you think most people here are nerds, if that's in response to what I said ...

I have the stomach flu and wonder what the inversion of a stomach looks like.
