My version is as old as 1.09 and the rom I used was 40,960 bytes. But 1.02 doesn't really give you anything more, so I wouldn't be too concerned about it working

Hmm, possible that version was hacked incorrectly so it dosen't work on emulators with correct emulation.

Then, FCE Ultra dosen't like it either.

When I just play NES, I use an old version of FCEU 0.96. This hack work fine on it, lemme get the link in case you might wanna try it.

Here you go.

But yeah I tried the hack on somma the modern emus and they conk out on me.

I don't know what version of Mario VS Airman this is, but this is the ips patch. It works in my fceuxd emulator so its probably the first revision.

I don't think there will be any more revisions of this so you might as well put it up on RHDN cause it's obvious it's meant as a 1 level hack. The japanese do that quite a bit.
