Can you be bothered to provide some screenshots, at least?

Agreed, the first thing I noticed was your avatar's boobs bouncing.

Edit: Awesome.

Blackhole: I can't, as the only NES emu I can run at the moment is nesDS.

Which doesn't have a screenshot function. :/

Sugestion, just press Print Screen, copy the print into Paint and then edit to fit.

I think he made it fairly obvious that he's emulating his NES on an NDS, which, last I checked, didn't have a print screen key.

I'll see if I can give it a try then make some screenshots myself.

Very good hack, but that " New features are the bricks that take 3-8 hits to break" thing makes it more borong to play.

Try RockNESX. That has Screenshot options.

Uhm, if you don't know what nesDS is it should be fairly obvious that it's a nes emulator for the DS? This is the second time..

You should try getting a CPU based emulator. That is what the world uses!! Also to answer your question before in IRC:

No, I am not going to continue the DOS version of the editor. I am going to recode it into windows someday

Problem is, emulating ANYTHING on this computer would overheat it. :x

And hmm, damn... what's going to be added once the editor's converted to a Windows EXE?

When it is ported to windows it will have the back palette editor and a few other things I figured out when I made Tekanoid.

How long would it take to make the editor, nine months to a year? I know I'd love to hack this game since I can't run anything DOS on this pc.

Depends on how it is...anywhere from 2-6 months, but I have some other projects right now.

Okay, this thread should be moved to the ROM Hacking Related Releases section...
I like the new colors. Here's a screenshot of Level 2:

Green blocks are those who need more than one hit to destroy...
Red blocks are indestructible...

I thought I told you where the data was years ago when you wanted to hack the ROM. After hearing this maybe I might push the editor up, maybe not. I just think people would be confused with the color system that was used...it was quite goofy!!

Bloodstar, do you plan to modify your hack or is it a final version?

My observations so far:

In Round 3, the little thingies (do they have a name?) tend to get stuck in a lump because of how the bricks are layed out. And also, the number of bricks needed to finish the level is lower than the total number of breakable bricks. Is it normal?

Enemies also form lumps in Round 5...

I think Round 6 is ridiculously hard. I'd suggest lower the top bricks' hardness at the very least, or maybe increase the distance between the rows of indestructible bricks...

Round 7 is good, but has the enemy-lump syndrome...

Aside from that, I'd like to see new backgrounds...
