I was messing around with the ROM and I found this crazy effect that makes Mario and things directly related to his coding be processed twice as fast.
It's really crazy. Here's a patch for Super Mario Bros. 3 (U) (PRG1) [!] roms http://www.box.net/shared/ei00g045xv ____________________ |

Cool. Patching it to the USA rom makes it less glitchy though. ____________________ |

Here's a better version of the effect that works correctly on all emulators:
http://www.box.net/shared/72nfl6prrq It even works on PocketNES. No jumbled statusbar or strange effects should really be present, just the doubled processing of mario's physics. It's cool because pretty much anything that is related to mario's coding is done twice as fast. He runs faster, he jumps faster, swims faster, whatever. ____________________ |

Posted by Legomen Funny, I thought recording a video and putting it online took more effort than looking for a common ROM. |

I guess so. It slows down when there's enemies.
The newest version should work with any SMB3 ROM. I did find a problem though. Verticle levels don't display properly. I guess you should just aviod those for now. ____________________ |
