Jokingly referred to as multi-player notepad, it can be use to collaborate on projects in real time that would normally require the shuttling back and forth of copies of documents on your local computer.

The server is located at IP http://213.239.193.176, using port 6918. You don't need the http for the server address in MoonEdit, afaik.

I started one a while back, but it was on a very unstable server at the time. Blackhole89 was kind enough to host it for us this time. I hope it can become very popular amongst hackers and developers alike.


This shows the developer page for Double Helix, the C coded version of Zero Fission.

Think of it as a live data repository for hackers. Collaborate on FAQs for
editors, or make walkthroughs for games or hacks! SMILE needs a FAQ/Guide really bad. An english one. Its uses are almost endless. Come join the fun!

I fully support the SMILE FAQ. I know that I'll need it at times.

As for game walkthroughs, I hadn't thought of that, but it's perfect for it. Really. Moonedit is really useful and having one for Rom Hacking is a smart idea.

Currently, it's down due to the server erratically restarting in 5 minute to 10 hour intervals.

I'll have the datacenter guys check through the hardware in the early hours of tomorrow (10 hours from now), which might lead to some hours of total downtime. After that, hopefully, things will be fixed. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

The issue with the server constantly restarting is fixed now.
