I swore there was a game genie code that allows you to manipulate to change how tall mario is, without altering if he's regular mario or super mario. The graphics are the same but it always depicts him as small mario.

I kinda need this effect, wether it's a game genie code or a rom address.

To always keep mario small you need to keep the value of $0754h at 00. to do this, @ 3274h change 01 to 00

to disable the small to big animation, @ 326dh change 'ee 0b 07' to 'ea ea ea'

when you throw fireballs you'll still be big for a frame but you can edit just edit the sprite tiles for that

That isn't what I want. I wanted big mario to always act like he's ducking but doesn't go into ducking animation pretty much.

I've got that covered though.

Well it doesn't seem like he breaks bricks on your method.

I pretty much made it so that he's uses big mario graphics but I altered the tiles that it uses and stuff into my own layout so that he uses small sprites, and has an s on his head when big to indicate super mode.

I found the code I was looking for that cuts big mario's size in half but it's kinda glitchy, like he can jump over platform of the highest layable platforms.

Ok, new question.

How would I make it to turn off sprite tile flipping? Like when mario is standing?

I don't want to have to flip the image in the tile editor.

Unless there's some really large reason why you need to do that, I don't quite understand why it would be a problem. It's not like flipping a couple of tiles is all that difficult.

I was looking at the code and the code to flip the tiles is reused by dead mario as well as standing mario so you're going to have to make duplicates of those tiles if you disable flipping
