Just a little idea I had. I have found a Famicom Mini version of Zelda II that actually works. Now this is on the gameboy so I can imagine it is capable of GBA colors when hacked. If so, maybe, just maybe, I/we can make an enhanced version of Zelda II? (enhanced via more colors and edited sprites)

Below a palette test of mine. Changed all the sprites to dots of all the colors tile layer allows.

Is there a GBA palette editor? If not, then just close this thread.

I wouldn't work since the Famicom Mini games are actually slightly modified emulators with a NES ROM integrated into them.

So yeah, you could modify the graphics but keep it in the 2bpp limit.

Okay, just wondering because some of the sprites allowed more colors than what NES allowed.

No they don't. It's exactly the same as the NES version, it's just run in an emulator.

Plus, you're probably using one of the cracked versions. The clean dump of the game does not currently run in emulators or on flash carts. Any patch you make will probably not work for other people unless they happen to have the exact same crack.
