That is true. Whoever has direct FTP access (not merely PMA!) to the server, and owns it's domain name, can do just about anything they want. Even if against the wishes of board members and admins.

Well, if my opinion counts for anything...

I think Xkeeper was a good admin. I wasn't part of the board before his adminship, so I can't say if the board under his leadership was better or worse than it was before.

Xkeeper, I just don't understand why you continue to troll on this board. Yes, I know you have said it's to point out how bad the leadership is now, but why? If you actually left this board like you said you would, you wouldn't care if the leadership is good or not because you wouldn't be around to experience it. So, if you wouldn't mind, inform me. Who knows? You might have a legitimate reason for what you're doing here, and I just don't see it. I'm curious.

I think he does it because he still cares, and even if he can't be the one in charge he wants there to be competent leadership.

He had enough of a hand in building this place that he'd rather it not go to pieces.

Just because he got forced out of power, doesn't mean he doesn't care about this board. I mean, it's obvious that he DOES - he's been here for years, and he was a dedicated admin to the place as long as he's been in power. If you were part of a community for so long, then saw someone fucking it up quickly after forcing you out of your admin seat, what would you think?

As he said, the only reason he left on his own is because he knew he would be overthrown. Despite that, he was forced out anyway, hence why the bomb went off. It's just an extreme lack of respect and tons of arrogance that goes a long way - and the wrong people have the power to get their way, not even really thinking about the benefit of the community as a whole. It's clear a lot of people would prefer Xkeeper back in power, but anyone who has the ability to do so is either gone, or violently opposed to it. It's pretty bad.

If I understand correctly, Xkeeper is trying to teach the admins when and how to act on a problem user. Only, because they won't listen to him, he has to teach them the hard way.
At least, that seems to be his side of the story. It doesn't seem to be working too well, though.

It's nice to know that even while I'm asleep, some people can be smart enough to basically post what I'd post in my stead

(i.e. A+ 100/100)

Another problem with it now is that I still have my other forum which I don't want to abandon, simply because starting over fresh with an overall new perspective on how things work was so much bettter of an idea, for a variety of reasons.
