yup, thats right. tomorrow I'm off to Lake Placid for the games.
I'm in the snowshoe races -- All of them. I already qualified, and I'm going with other members of my local snowshoe club tomorrow. I probably won't have internet access (no laptop, sadly) so I can't really offer updates. I'll be back either Sunday or Monday (not really sure, last race is Sunday -- the 5k) all I have to say is that running with snowshoes is 100x harder than just running. Running requires more endurance, snowshoes more strength. I run a 5k in about 20 minutes without snowshoes, with them it's like 40+. anyway, wish me luck. |
