I'm having trouble with NES emulators, a few behave very odd... Especially considering SNES and N64 ones are fine.
Rocknes 5.00B2: Allows editing keyboard controls as usual. Crashes if I try to remap a gamepad. Nestopia 1.37: Crashes upon entering full-screen mode. I've tried all sorts of things, it just won't cooperate. Somehow FCEUXD SP 1.07 works correctly in both above areas. Good for me, not sure why it does. It's minimal filtering options mean the games could look better than they do. Any other emus worth trying? I don't mind testing them out. I'll go ahead and list a few system specs. Pentium D 805 @ approx 2.66ghz, Windows XP SP2, GeForce 7600GTS PCIe, 2GB RAM. ____________________ |

Back onto the topic of NES emus, I like Nester and it's newer counterpart, NNNesterJ, they're pretty good, I believe NNNesterJ has some filters, although I prefer to play without filters on, so I'm unsure if they'd be satisfactory to you. ____________________ There are things I want to put here. Like a cool picture, my 8-bit theatre character test result, my MS and RO characters... But it's 12 AM, and I'm sleepy. |

Posted by setz"Holy fucking shit" doesn't even begin to cover it.Posted by Valkyrie NES Emus: Jnes works ok, so does FCEUXD (NOT SP (unless you need a debugger or whatever it's for)). ____________________ |
